forum It's not in the Cards (O/O)

Aki's eyes widen and seem to sparkle as he sits up, gazing at the kittens. He was so shy though, he had no idea what to do, so he let the fuzzy creatures be, not wanting to disturb them.

"You can come pet them, you know." Cas said, looking up at Aki. "This is Petunia." He pet the calico adult. "And this is Keilven." He gestured to the ginger tom. "These are their kittens."

He slowly sat beside Cas and smiles a little bit before reaching out his hands to the kittens. They were so fluffy. He let them crawl on him and all he could do was giggle softly and play with them happily. He looked extremely happy.

Cas smiled at Aki's excitement, setting a kitten in his lap. "You can help me name them, if you want. I still haven't decided."

He smiled a bit before nodding. "Can we call this one Cinnamon?" He asks excitedly, holding the kitten gently, nuzzling its nose against his own.

"Sure. Spices can be the theme." Cas looked at the other kittens, a little brown one and an earthy sort of ginger one. "How about… Caraway and Cumin?"

"Hmm. Those can work, but how about Nutmeg and Caraway?" He chuckles and kisses Cas gently on the cheek, before travelling to his lips.

"I like it." Cas kissed him back, smiling. "I'd call them the Spice Girls, but Caraway isn't a girl…" He pet the kittens cheerfully.

He smiled before playing with the kittens happily, nuzzling into their furs and letting out a small little purr of his own.

(Is that a reference to Spice Girls, as in the pop/ R&B band?)

"You seem to be getting along with them just fine." Cas laughed, petting Keilven.

"Mhmm." He pulled Nix into his lap. "These guys are like family to me. They mean a lot." He hummed. "This is Petunia and Keilven's first litter. I hope they'll have more in the future…"

Aki listens and nods. "Yes please, let there be more. I love them." he giggles as he holds the kittens crawling around him. He settles his head on Cas's shoulder.

"I'm considering adopting some of the kittens out, presuming they have more." Cas pet Petunia. "I'm sure people would be pretty interested in owning a royal kitten."

"Well. I think all of them are adorable." He mutters as he giggles and holds onto the small kittens. "They're so soft and fluffy…" He mutters before leaning against Cas.

"Yep." Cas picked up Caraway with one hand and set him on his shoulder. "I like cats. They get me."

"Ha. As half cat. I can agree. Well. Technically half fox but details." He chuckles and nuzzles Cinnamon and sighs happily as he does so.

Cas nodded. "How does that work, anyways? Like, just out of curiosity, not trying to be rude… the whole, half fox thing."

"Not sure. I never met my parents. I think my mum was a fox goddess who fell in love with a mortal. But that's what my master told me. I never really knew." He shrugged. "I was left on the streets as an infant." He shrugged.

"Interesting… did she like… have a human form or something? Sorry if that's a weird question…" Cas blushed a bit, laying one hand on Caraway to keep him from falling.

"Yeah." He hummed. "She looked like me." He sighed softly. "She didn't want anything to do with me. Or my dad." He shrugged as he played with Cinnamon and pet Nutmeg.

"That sucks… my mom left too. My dad barely acknowledges her existence, so I've no clue what she looks like or if she's alive or anything." Cas glanced out the window, momentarily distracted by something.

He nods and looks down. "I know that feeling." He sighed before looking at Cas, "But now we have each other." he kisses Cas's lips gently, his long lashes shutting.

"Mm…" Cas closed his eyes and kissed him back. "I love you." He murmured, running his fingers through Aki's hair.

"I love you too." He mutters as he leaned into Cas's hand, purring lowly. He gave a little sigh of content as his lips melded with Cas's.

"I'm glad we can be together now…" He said softly, pressing his forehead against Aki's.

Aki nods and smiles. "Even if it means wearing dresses for a little while." He laughs as he kissed the other slowly, sighing happily. He opened his eyes and smiled at Cas.

"Yeah… I mean, you're welcome to wear pants if you'd like. I'm not gonna stop you." Caraway meowed loudly and Cas let him down.

He laughs a little. "Only when I'm around you though." He mutters as he kisses Cas again. He ran a hand through Cinnamon's fur as he leaned against Cas.

Cas nodded. "You don't have to worry about glamours around me either. I'm attracted to guys anyways."

He smiled before tapping the crystal twice. He shifted back into his male form and smiled at Cas. "Good, because so am I." He mutters softly.
