“I don’t want you to let go of me.” She admitted softly, letting go of him anyway, if with obvious hesitance. “You don’t have to, you know. I can handle any more stitching and bandaging myself.” She said, reaching up to cup his cheek for a moment. Her leg was still wrapped around him, as though she was trying to keep in contact as long as she could.
“I need to so i can help you.” He laughed softly and shook his head gently. “Let me help you, Osora. I like helping.” He purred, stepping forwards slightly so he was closer. “If we get you fixed up we can cuddle some more.” He murmured. “I’ll gladly hold you if you let me fix up the rest of you first.”
She hummed thoughtfully, like she was mulling it over. “I guess I can deal with that. Only if you promise to keep that promise though.” She said, raising an eyebrow up at him. If he was paying attention, he would notice that her normally severely lacking expression was becoming a bit more open, not my much but enough to be noticeable.
Tali grinned, patting her head playfully. “You have my word, Osora. Cuddles right after.” He laughed softly and picked up the cloth he was using. Tali wouldn’t openly admit it but he was extremely happy to see she was becoming more expressionate with him.
"Good. I have to get something out of you refusing to let me do anything." Osora said, faking a grumpy tone for a moment. She released him fully, scooting back into the chair more to make it easier for him. "Right shin, left hip, shit ton on my back. Mostly smaller cuts from the glass."
He chuckled and shook his head as he lifted her right leg carefully. “Is this the broken one?” He asked softly as he searched for glass in her shin. “I don’t want to hurt you. Use the blanket for something, too, if you’d like.”
"The left is the one with the shattered knee." She assured, crossing her arms carefully. "And I'm fine. Besides, you really couldn't do too much damage to me. Unless your abilities let you take on things like claws or increased strength. Even then, though, I'd still have the upper hand."
“Thank you. And as for claws and added strength. Yes, I could do that. I can make my teeth sharper too. Another reason my shrine leaders were afraid of me. Thought I was some creature sent by the king of the underworld or whatever.” He chuckled lightly, pulling a few small pieces of glass from her skin. He cleaned up the area and studied it a bit more. “Do you want stitches in this one?”
"Too small to bother with stitches." Osora said, waving a hand almost dismissively as she leaned forward to look down at him. "You can add things like that? Can you show me? As long as it doesn't take to much of your energy. Because if it does, then forget I asked." There was something extra in her voice, almost like excited curiosity, that shone in her eyes for a moment as well.
Tali glanced up at her, tilting his head. “Ah. Yes I can show you. It’s really nothing against my power.” He closed his eyes for a moment, grimacing. The sound of bones and fingernails reforming was an unpleasant one in his opinion. His teeth visibly sharpened to those of some sort of large carnivore, his jaw widening slightly to make up for the added length of his teeth. He grinned to show them off, lifting his hands to show the claws that had appeared. “I can’t turn into animals, but I can mimic the small things like teeth and claws and sometimes extra hair.”
Osora uncrossed her arms to cup his face gently, tilting his head side to side to look at the fangs and his changed jaw. "That's so cool." She murmured, blinking a few times as her fingers traced his features. "And badass. I like the fangs. They'd come in handy around Halloween, too, you know. Does it hurt, adding things like that, or just feel unpleasant?"
Tali completely relaxed into her hands, opening his mouth to show off the rest of his new teeth. “It’s slightly unpleasant mostly because they don’t fit in my mouth. The pain isn’t too bad anymore, I’ve grown used to it. Hardly realize it’s there now. It’s the sound that gets me.”
“The sound was slightly unsettling.” She agreed with a nod, bringing his face closer to hers to continue looking at the teeth. “They look almost like fox teeth, with more viper-like canines. A little bigger though, which is insane.”
His hand moved to rest against her good knee, keeping himself stable as he let her pull him closer. “So you can tell what animals I studied…? Fox teeth were much easier to fit in my mouth than some sort of big cat or wolf. And for the viper-like canines, I got curious.” He said with a smile. “I actually have to create little pocket-like things in the bone of my jaw to close my mouth with them in.”
“Reeha talks a lot. She also randomly send facts and images to me without much reason, when they catch her interest.” She explained, tapping the tip of one of the teeth with her thumb. She hadn’t put much thought into the action, and didn’t realize just how…intimate it was without much needed context. “So there are pockets in your jaw now? I wonder if I could do that. Create the pockets by moving material around.”
He blushed lightly, letting a small laugh. “Oh. Reeha sounds fun.” He murmured, his voice slightly muffled as he struggled to keep his mouth open for her. “Yeah. There is. Just for the canines though.”
She blinked once as his cheeks colored, releasing his face only to re-cup his cheeks again. “She is fun. Never fails to surprise me, even after all these years of friendship. You don’t have to keep them like that if you don’t want to. But again, they’re super cool.”
Tali flashed an extremely toothy grin at her before he reshaped his jaw and returned his teeth to normal. A soft sigh left his lips. “Thank you, Reeha did seem really fun. I hope she doesn’t end up disliking me.”
“You’ll know she likes you when she insults you so much you’re sure she hates you.” She advised, shrugging a shoulder. Then, on a whim, she leaned forward to press her lips to his, lingering a moment before going to pull back.
A groan left his throat. “Oh lord she’s one of those people.” He complained teasingly, grinning softly before his lips were taken into a lingering kiss. He grabbed her arm when she moved, pressing her closer. “Stay for a moment…” he murmured against her lips, his eyes half lidded.
Osora huffed a breath of air against his lips, reminiscent of a laugh, before looping her free arm around his neck. “Just for a moment.” That was an empty promise. And by empty, she meant she’d gladly stay there forever, not just a moment. Her eyes slipped closed peacefully, and she pressed into the kiss a bit more.
Tali smiled, his arms looping freely around her waist. He sighed through his nose, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. She felt heavenly; someone as pretty as she should never have fallen for a thing like him. And yet here they were, kissing.
Tali was, in many ways, so much better than her. Osora knew that. She adored that. He was a good person, he was sweet and adorable when he wanted to be, and he was kind. She wasn’t really any of those things, in her mind. But whatever he saw in her was obviously enough to counteract that, if his willingness to kiss her whenever was any indication.
He broke away for a breath, smiling sweetly at her. “You’re a really good kisser, you know.” He teased, giving her sides a little poke. Tali dropped his head to her shoulder and closed his eyes. “Thank you Osora…” he breathed. “You’re absolutely stunning and I don’t think I deserve this.”
"Funny, I was just thinking that about you." Osora commented, turning her head to press her face to the side of his, as he dropped his head to her shoulder. His hair smelled nice. "You're a good few steps above me, both as a person and as a kisser."
He shook his head and laughed. “Noooo. You’re so much better. You’re so pretty and charming and just… breathtaking.” He said softly, gently squeezing her. “You need to give yourself more credit, Osora.”
"Charming? I'm half convinced you're just listing off adjectives at this point." She joked lightly, squeezing back. For a brief moment, even though he couldn't see it, something like a small and happy smile flashed over her face. It was gone too quick, but there nonetheless. "And maybe I'll start giving myself credit when you do, as well."
“Adjectives that describe you.” He nuzzled into her neck and hummed lowly. “I guess we both need to work on loving ourselves, huh?” He asked gently, pressing a soft kiss to her neck.

It was started late at night and finished later so it might not be super great, but it also might give you a bit of insight on these two, and maybe even be a fun read))
She took in a sharp breath before she could register it. Her neck was, unfortunately, an incredibly sensitive spot. Well, unfortunate for her, very fortunate for him. "Definitely. Maybe we can help each other with that."
