Morrigan’s eyes fluttered shut and she opened her mouth to protest but nothing cane out. Her pulse was weakening, but Kameo was in more danger than her.

"Uh, yeah," Daso laughed. "Your eyes were the greenest I'd ever seen. And the shadows your hat cast on your face? Intimidating."
Once Lucian could tell that she was closer to unconcious, he began to work on her wound, going through the motions as quick as possible. Occasionally, he would stop, and collect the blood from the floor into silicone blood bags.
(Okay, I'm going to be off for a bit longer. The fam wants to watch BH6.)
Lol bye)
Morrigan drifted in and out of hazy sleep, her pain muted. Hallucinations of her mother appeared an ddissapeared as Lucian worked.
"God, I didn't even realize. . ." Leah grinned, shaking her head and blushing a little from Daso's comment about her eyes. "To be honest, I thought you were pretty cute."
(Okay, and omg that’s such a cute but sad movie)
(Going to sum up the procedure because I don’t feel like describing it all.)
After a short time, Lucian finished pressing bandages to the closed wound gently. She had a bit of internal damage, but he suspected that she would be okay. He was unsure if she was fully awake yet, most likely not, so he set the few packages of blood aside and lifted Morrigan carefully, bringing her to her bedroom.
Morrigan barely felt his arms around her as he brought her to her room, head lolling.
"God, I didn't even realize. . ." Leah grinned, shaking her head and blushing a little from Daso's comment about her eyes. "To be honest, I thought you were pretty cute."
"Of course you did, I'm the cutest person you've ever laid eyes on," he said, winking. Then his smile shrank to a fond smirk. "I thought you were the most beautiful, scariest, and most powerful pirate to have ever existed."
Lucian pushed the door to her bedroom open and walked over to her bed, gently laying her down. He sighed softly, staying seated on the edge of her bed for a while, just thinking.
"Powerful. . .?" Leah said, raising a brow. "I'm not too sure about that."
Morrigan coughed weakly, rolling over to her side. “Sorry.”, she rasped.
Lucian was about to get up from the bed, but he looked over at the sound of Morrigan’s voice. “What are you sorry for?” He asked gently, leaning against his elbow to be slightly more level for her.
"Powerful. . .?" Leah said, raising a brow. "I'm not too sure about that."
"In the past week I've seen you face down some of the weirdest foes in the sea," Daso laughed. "And every time you kept your entire crew safe. I'd say that's pretty powerful."
“Making so much work for you.” She smiled weakly, exhausted.

Leah shook her head and looked down. "I couldn't even hold my sword today. I wouldn't exactly call that powerful."

"Being powerful isn't about being strong all the time." Daso winced. "I sound pretentious. But really. Power of friendship or whatever. Your crew loves you."
(Daso and Leah’s “flirting” is so cute, it’s just back and forth compliments)
Lucian smiled faintly and trailed his fingers up and down her arm. “I hate to say that I love my job, you’re just doing me a favor. But try to be more careful,” he said.
(Goodnight I gtg)
“I’ll try my best.”, she murmured, eyes falling shut.
"I bet you could write some good books about the philosophy of life." Leah laughed, looking up and flashing a sideways grin.
(Seeyah)
Lucian smiled a tad more and leaned over, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “I’ll be in my office if you need anything,” He said softly, getting up and leaving the room. He was pleased that she would get sleep because of the morphine. He knew she may wake up terrified because of night terrors, but it was important for her to rest.
"I bet you could write some good books about the philosophy of life." Leah laughed, looking up and flashing a sideways grin.
"Bet I could," Daso grinned. "When I retire, I'll write one."
His leg was gone. Ace was gone. His dreams destroyed. What point was there to live? Why should he live? The world was full of nothing but misfortune. Kameo squeezed his eyes shut. When I open my eyes, Ace will be here and my leg will be back and my mother will still be alive. Obviously, it didn't come true.
"Everyone would read your book. . . would I be in it?" Leah asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Darling, you'd be all I could write about," he said with his most charming smile.
(awww)
"Darling, you'd be all I could write about," he said with his most charming smile.
"God, you're adorable, sweetheart." Leah laughed, leaning forward.
Life is pain, anyone who says something else is selling something. Kameo couldn't move as he lied down on that table, listening to Morrigan and Lucian fawn over each other. I'm fricking dying and all they can do is moon about how much they love each other. He supposed that was how all of the couples on this ship were. Captain and Daso probably didn't even know he'd lost a leg. They were probably flirting right now.

(It's almost like he's psychic!)
