Rouge sat in a desk that seemed to be close to the widow but that was just so she could use the light to help Evelyn if needed. (she can see the shadows around Evelyn)

“Mason. I’m sorry. I was hoping a loud sound would trigger something. It took some pretty unpleasant things to trigger mine and when you said everything was louder I had hoped that if I shouted it would trigger something. I’m sorry.” Her voice was quiet as she looked down at Mason.
Mason still looked mad and honestly, a little scared but nodded and said "That's fine." His voice broke. "This happens a lot." He gestured at his bleeding ears
(So, how do I do this?)
(You can just hop straight in really!)
“I’m truly an sorry Mason. I just hoped that if you had to have a bad, in your case, loud trigger, that I could help you get it over with with someone to help you by your side. Because some triggers can be quite traumatic.”
Okee. I'm gonna wait for a break, or something like I can show up.
"Yeah. I forgive you." He sighed and put his head, facedown, on the desk.
Evelyn gathered her shadows into something almost tangible and hovered them right outside Masons ears to slightly mute the noise but still let him hear.
The sound of brisk, hurried jogging echoed from the hall outside. A girl came into view, her bright green hair in a disheveled state. Timidly, she approached the pair. "Uh, hey. Do you know where I am?"
Sucorra arrived at the classroom, taking a random seat. Burying her head in her arms, she sighed. Today just was not her day. She couldn't focus at all, she failed the test in science, she lost in power control and was still very sore from it. Her luck was just all against her today, wasn't it?
Iris had jumped at the noise Evelyn had made when she shouted and had stood there for a minute or so. Finally snapping out of it, she ran at top speed, skidding to a stop in front of the history classroom. "Oh, another new student? Phew, I'm not the only one. This is the history classroom," she made a face and sat down in the nearest chair.
(rouge can see through them Ellie)
Rouge got up from her desk and walked to the girl that had just ran in "Hello i'm Rouge. What is your name?"
“Uhh, Lili.” the girl said. “What class is this? I have no idea if I’m in the right place.” She continued to play with her hair.
"Ahaha, history? God, I'm going to flunk out of here at some point, I'm terrible at this kind of stuff," she made a face. "Hi, I'm Iris. Nice to meet you."
Rouge drew a sign and made a rope. It said 'Free tutoring'
"You too. I hate history. Who cares about what happened a hundred years ago?"
She grinned.
"Haha, my thoughts exactly! Not to mention my memory's not that good," she replied, glad to find someone who was new like her and also didn't like history.
Lili held out her hand and her smile widened. "Nice to meet you. I don't usually get this kind of greeting. It's a nice change."
"Oh, uh, yeah, you too!" Iris shook her hand, offering a weak smile.
(izzyandviolins you're the teacher. We need her to get here so the lesson can start)
(Oh yeah sorry)
Eleanor had been sitting at her desk, doing some teacher stuff. When she noticed the time hit 1.05, she cleared her throat. "Okay class, today we'll be doing some icebreakers! We have some new students, so I think this is the perfect idea!"
Iris groaned. "Ugh, I hate icebreakers," she whispered quietly.
"Okay everyone get into groups of five!" she said in a bright tone.
“What’s the use of a good memory if you can’t even take tests or quizzes.” Evelyn grumbled.
"Well, I hate tests and quizzes, my memory is crap, so… can't relate," Iris laughed. "Anyways, wanna be in my group? It'll be nice to have a friendly face…"
Evelyn put in her happy face and smiled brightly. “Of course! Why wouldn’t I?” She made sure to grin from ear to ear.
Iris knew a fake smile when she saw it; she'd done the same so many times. "Evelyn. What's wrong? And don't tell me nothing, I know a fake smile when I see 'em," after a long pause, she added quietly, "…I've done the same so many times, I can't count them."
