Finally, second period ended for Alexander and he checked his messages to see that the Cat had responded. He also lived in Hatchetville? Alexander’s head was swimming with possibilities.

”No way! That should make things easier, then. What about you, Caterpillar?”

It would be a crazy coincidence if the other person also lived in Hatchetville. Alexander wondered if the Cat knew who he was, then, since there weren’t any other Alexanders at his school that he knew of.

Maddie had had a small ”attack” in her last class and was very thankful when it was over… both: the headache and the class, and couldn't stop herself from running out of the room. She paused for a moment to pull a thermos out of her school bag and took a long swallow from it. Catching her breath, she thought back to what she had seen and headed to the library. She knew someone was there and it was someone she needed to meet. She turned into a small corner and looked around. ”Hello? I know you're here and I’d like to meet you.” she called softly.

"I live there as well. Do you know anywhere we could meet in person to figure everything out?" Locke messaged once he realized he was now in a group chat.

”Isn’t there a park not too far from the public library? We could meet there.” Alexander sat down in his third class quickly, already anxious for it to end. If these guys both lived in Hatchetville, they might already know each other. Alexander cringed, hoping they didn’t think he was a dork.

Is that really all you can think about? he chided himself. More importantly, how does this thing work? And where are the other two people?

His head popped up as he heard the girl's voice. Instead of panic, a mischevious wide smile appeared on his face as he climbed the shelves. Now sitting on top of it, humming a sweet tune. Though completely out of sight.
"Why hello my dear" his soft voice echoed through the library as his eyes pierced the dim light of the room. The lights no longer worked, but that went in his favor.

Maddie jumped, looking around for the voice that seemed to come from nowhere. It took her a moment before she let out a mad cackle. ”So, you're the vanishing cat.” she giggled tilting her green fedora. ”Looking forward to a mad adventure?”

"Oh? I'm guessing you're the mad hatter" he says with a little laugh of his own. Running his fingers through his hair and biting his lip ring slightly. He jumped down the shelf, putting his hands in his pockets and stepped towards her. Coming into the less dim light.
"Nice to meet you. Say….how did you find me?" He purred, his eyes beaming at hers with delight.

She giggled walking closer to him, ”According to the note; I’m the seer. And that's how I found you, silly kitty.” She took off her hat with a flourish before putting it back. ”Name’s Maddie if you want to be friendly. What do we call you?”

(I think so but our Alice hasnt posted yet so we may was to wait for them.)

"Chess, if you wil" He, says taking a bow, a slightly flirtatious smirk on his face.
"so….Seer, have you met up with the others?" He asks her walking to the corner where he was, about to climb the shelf, though he simply turned around and leaned on it, facing her.

Maddie raised a brow with an odd smile. ”Is that your real name or are you just playing homage to your feline counterpart? Come to think of it, my initials are M.H., the same as mine… Interesting…” she leaned against the wall next to the shelf Chess claimed. ”No, I haven't met anyone else yet. You're my first.”

"Uh…no it's my real name…. and that's interesting." He says climbing the shelves quickly, standing on top for a second, looking down at the Maddie for a second before letting out a little laugh, then seemingly disappearing.
