“I can… sort of… cook. Why?”

Tyson got the cover for the tent out. "Well, we might need heat tonight. And light."

“Do you know how to make a fire?”

"Yeah, I go camping with my family a lot."

“Then can you?”

"Uh…" He raised an eyebrow. "Sure!"

“Thanks.”

Tyson glanced around the bleak desert. "Now I just have to find something to set on fire…"

“Look through the Narnia backpack.” Lucille said, nodding towards the backpack.

Tyson chuckled. "I doubt she has fire starters in there." He said as he rummaged through it. He gasped. "Oh my gosh there is fire starters in here." He said quietly.

“Haha.”

He took out the newspaper. "We're gonna need more than this…"

“I think there’s more. If that backpack weighs that much, there has got to be more newspaper.”

"Do you think she has logs or sticks in there?" He asked as he stuck his hand back in.

“… either way, watch out for splinters.”

Tyson sighed. "Nope! In her Narnia bag she just couldn't have wood…"

“Well shoot.”

Tyson stood up and put his hands on his hips. "Darn…" He looked at the horizon again. The sun was getting low. "Should I go out and look for something to burn?"

“… That’s hazardous.”

"Yeah but we don't have many other choices besides no fire…"

“Please don’t die.” Lucille sighed, “Go.”

Tyson wandered down the dunes, not sure why he was even trying. He fingered his knife in his pocket. He looked to his left. Sand. He looked to his right. More sand. He sighed. This was hopeless. He started to turn and head back but paused. He slowly turned in a circle. Everything looked the same. "Aw crap…" He muttered.

Lucille quietly sat there, hoping that Tyson didn’t die.
