Cas was really struggling to stay up and standing. He swayed on his feet and seemed a bit dazed. They'd been here all day and he was beyond exhausted. He typically slept at least once during the day, but he couldn't do that here. He was one slow song away from just collapsing where he was.
Sorin yawned and began organizing the last stack of menus as he watched the remaining guests leave. He immediately went over to Cas when he finished, pulling him into a hug while he nuzzled his hair.
"Mm…" Cas fell against Sorin, letting the other support his weight. It took a matter of seconds for him to doze off in his arms with his ears drooping behind his head and his tail dragging limply on the floor.
"You tired?" Sorin lowered his head and smiled at the other.
Cas didn't respond, since he'd already fallen asleep. He nuzzled weakly against Sorin's chest in his sleep and seemed to be pretty relaxed.
Sorin picked him up and held him close against his chest and looked at the woman who was picking up the tablecloth in front of him. He headed out the door once she gestured him to do so and flew straight home.
Cas tucked his head under Sorin's chin during the flight, trying to stay as close to him as possible. He was limp and drained and all he needed was to sleep and cuddle right now.
Sorin opened his door, careful not to make any nose to not wake the sleeping boy in his arms. He steadily walked up the stairs and gently lied him down.
Cas huddled up in the covers and got comfortable, purring contentedly. He didn't seem likely to wake up anytime soon unless he was disturbed.
He sighed, figuring that removing his uniform would be a somewhat hard task. He thought about waking him up to do it himself but shook his head. He seems comfortable enough, he thought as he began removing his own clothing.
Cas stayed asleep while Sorin changed, completely out by now. He was basically going to be dead to the world for a few hours.
When he finished changing, he took off the other's shoes and lied down next to him, dozing off the second his head hit the pillow.
Cas woke up late in the morning, glad they didn't have to work today. He yawned and stretched, suddenly realizing he was still in his uniform. He got up and stripped down to his boxers.
Sorin stirred and slowly began to open his eyes. He sat up and yawned, running his hand though his messy hair. "Good morning, beautiful."
"M-Morning…" Cas blushed and held the hoodie in his hands in front of himself, feeling self conscious of his half naked body for some reason.
He bit back the urge to laugh, not wanting to seem as though he were making fun of him. "What's the matter, Cas?"
He blushed harder and looked away. "Nothing, I… I just feel exposed and it makes me nervous. And it's a natural inclination to hide myself…"
Sorin scratched the back of his head and gave him a puzzled look. "I mean… i've seen you naked before," he said with a nervous laugh. "But I can turn around and close my eyes if you want me to."
"I know, and it's fine…" He glanced back up. "It's just my brain being dumb. Don't worry about it…"
"No, I don't think your brain is being dumb. If you get nervous, you get nervous and there's not really any control over that."
"I'm just… I dunno… kinda self conscious about my body, I guess. When I'm turned on, I don't really care much, but when I'm not… I've still got full control over my mind."
"Self conscious about the way it looks?"
Cas nodded, rubbing his arm nervously. "I'm… It's really dumb… I just feel like I'm too short and small in general and I've got feminine hips and my hands are too small and you can see my ribs no matter how much I eat and-" He stopped himself in his tracks, biting his lip. "Sorry…"
Sorin frowned as he spoke those heart-wrenching words. "Hey, no need to be sorry, I just… I-I don't understand. Why are you so cruel to yourself? Your body…" he stood up and cupped the other's cheeks. "There's nothing wrong with it. I find nothing wrong with it."
Cas turned his ears back and closed his eyes. "I-I don't like it… that's all it is… I'm just a dumb cat boy who couldn't pass for a pathetic excuse for a man if he tried…" He quoted his father almost word for word, trembling slightly.
"That's not true… and Casper you're not–" he shook his head. "You're not dumb." His hazel eyes flickered bits of gold as he stroked his cheek.
Cas shied away, keeping his eyes closed and his arms crossed over his bare chest. "You seem to be the only one who thinks so…"
"I'm sure that's not true. Kariin and Daniel don't really seem to think so… I know you haven't know them for that long but–" he stopped and sighed heavily, reaching over to Cas.
"Just face it, baby. You're the only one who cares." Cas's shoulders tensed up a bit. "To everyone else, I'm just a pest; a burden."
"Oh come on… you don't know that and even if it were true, why does it matter? Why care what anyone else thinks?"
