@Fraust
He whined louder and lay back on the grass, still hiding his face. "Noooooooo… I'm a stupid bitch."
He whined louder and lay back on the grass, still hiding his face. "Noooooooo… I'm a stupid bitch."
“You’re so cute!” Nick argued teasingly, an easy grin still on his face. “You’re really cute!”
"Nooooooooooooooo! I'm… I'm intimidating… I'm… I'm… I dunno…" Cas stammered, trying to argue.
Nick put his arms around Cas in a hug. “You’re absolutely adorable,” he whispered into Cas’s ear.
Cas's face was flushed bright red by now and he was pouting, keeping his eyes closed so Nick couldn't see the pitiful look in them. He crossed his arms and huffed indignantly.
Nick chuckled, his breath hot on Cas’s ear before moved back a little, still letting his legs touch Cas’s where they sat. “I meant what I said.”
"You're a dick…" Cas huffed, reluctantly looking up at Nick with his pout complete.
Nick’s grin stayed intact. “Thank you, I try,” he joked. “You’re cute when you insult me too.”
"I'm not cute…" Cas mumbled, looking away. He was still pouting.
Nick kissed him on the cheek and chuckled. “Okay, fine, whatever. You’re not cute…you’re adorable.”
"That's woooorse!" He groaned, flopping down on the grass again.
Nick laughed. “Okay then what do you want me to say?” he asked.
"I dunno… not that." Cas shrugged, looking out over the water from where he was laying.
Nick laughed again. “Wanna go for a swim?” he asked with a slightly mischievous glimmer in his eye and a wicked grin.
Cas seemed confused. "In our clothes? I didn't bring a bathing suit."
Nick laughed. “My plan was that we strip down to our underwear but if you want to swim in your clothes then go for it,” he replied, taking off his shirt.
Cas blushed, hesitating before carefully taking off his shirt. He was very pale, and his freckles stood out against his skin.
Nick cast him a smile before taking off his pants so he left standing in his boxers. He was blushing too but it was harder to tell. Then he quickly jumped into the water with a laugh.
(idk if boxers exist in fantasy-medieval stuff but whatever lol)
Cas blushed bright red when he slowly pulled his pants off, leaving him in only boxers as well. He waded out to where Nick was in the water until he was about waist deep. "Is… is now a bad time to mention that I don't know how to swim?"
Nick shook his hair out, droplets of water going in every direction. “Maybe,” he admitted. “Maybe I can help.” He swam over to where Cas was.
Cas stepped closer to Nick and yelped when he fell underwater. The bottom of the pond dropped off more suddenly than he expected.
Nick’s eyes widened and he instantly scooped Cas up, thankful that it was shallow there, and carried him to the edge of the lake. “You okay?”
Cas coughed for a moment and nodded. "Yeah… m'good…" He held tightly to Nick so he wouldn't fall again, eyeing the water warily.
“So maybe we don’t swim then?” Nick offered, sitting down on the edge of the edge of the water.
"I mean, we can, I just can't do it alone…" Cas started shivering from the cold air against his wet skin.
“If you’re cold, we can stop,” Nick added, his eyes brimming with concern.
"I'm only cold because I'm wet and we're not in the water much at the moment. I'm fine." Cas moved some of his wet hair out of his eyes.
Nick gave him a small smile. “Okay, if you’re fine with it then let’s go back in.” He waded in, but too deep this time.
Cas held tighter to Nick so he wouldn't sink, though he didn't make much attempt to actually try and swim.
“Do you know how to float?” Nick asked, not in a mocking tone. He genuinely just wanted to know.
