The layout of Selas was definitely messy yet it was organized in some manner. The streets in the capital were curved left and right at what seems to be a random order, the palace itself was not fully shown on the map, and the cities outside the capital weren’t exactly the greatest to the eyes. There was though, a hotel just down the same road as the one Lucisan was on. Judging from the amount of people on the road, perhaps there wasn’t a lot of people there.
Naga gave Lata a cold look as the dragons that were sent his way flew right away from him by him just holding out his hand.
“I see that you two are strong… magic wise that is… but you still haven’t developed them fully yet…” he walked slowly towards Lata. Upon standing in front of her, he lifted up her chin and stared at her with his black and bloodshot eyes.
“Tell me… is your magic one with your soul yet?”
Lata's magic fell, a shiver traveling down her spine at the coldness of the Naga. She didn't like being touched this way. It felt degrading. It was as if she were a lower life form than whoever hid behind that armor. A mix of fear for her life as well as anger welled up inside her. It was as her old friend had taught her: Succeed or die trying.
Lata clenched her teeth, refusing to say what this man wanted. "Why do you wanna know?" she hissed.
Cat had made her way slowly back to the range where Plag was waiting for her. She was shaky from the dizziness. And her head hurt. The shakiness was also possibly a sing of an impending panic attack. She didn't wait for Plag to hop on her shoulders, she picked him up and buried her face in his fur. "Plag I don't know if I could do killing people. Animals are different. You don't know what they think and they can't talk to you. People can," her voice mumbled from his fur. His only response was a low purring.
“I’d like a strong opponent… one who’s magic isn’t just a separate system but one intertwined with their soul… I’d want that…” the Naga answered in a surprisingly sad tone.
“Until your soul and magic become one… there’s no use for me wasting my time here…” the Naga Vessel disappeared amidst a faint green smoke, leaving Lata in that position and Draco on the rock he was hit towards.
Near the range, a knight stood still while being accompanied by… water bubbles? Huge ones to be exact. They seemed calm and refreshed though they did give out a scent of sadness. They sat under a large tree, conducting the water bubbles around themselves and started watering the trees around them.
Cat looked up keeping her face near Plag's fur. She pulled her bow off her back and dropped it on the ground next to her and sat down. Plag curled into her lap and continued purring. Cat watched the Knight, as they watered the trees. Her curiosity sparked, but she didn't move.
As the water of the knight was blessed upon the tree, it started growing and blooming immediately. The knight watched with a soft and kind smile, not yet acknowledging Cat’s presence. The tree itself had a soft green glow to it as it enlarged and as leaves sprouted from its seemingly dead branches.

"Another reason this is a hell country." He grumbled, deciding to head back to wherever the hell he was before. Luc got there and kinda, maybe just climbed up untill he got to the library.
In the library, the same figurines were in there, the Librarian and the Phoenix. Though with the edition of another fellow from Phastia Lucisan might recognize.
“What do you mean by that again?” Phoenix asked as she pointed to a point on a map with the pen in her hand.
“I meant that we could both use this space for mining. Liestha confirmed to us that there are valuables there that we can both dig up only if you agree to finally open up the trade routes to Candorin that you’ve blocked…” the diplomat from Phastia, Nathan, suggested before looking up to see Lucisan.
“Oh, hi Luc, long time no see” he waved cheerfully to the royal.
Luc sighed and rubbed his eyes once he got all the way into the room. "Hey, Nathan." He said tiredly in response, going to sit at a table and open some of his books.
Nathan noticed how Luc was acting and smiled softly.
Here, I’ll help a similar sphere of gray like that of Isaac’s surrounded Luc, this time though it just cancelled outside noises from coming into the sphere. It was normal for Nathan to do this so he didn’t really mind. He then continued the negotiation with Phoenix.
Luc signed thanks in ASL, going back to reading quietly. He eventually fell asleep against the pages of his book, eyes closed gently.
Nathan glanced at Luc once before…
“So…? What’s your decision?” His posture leaning in closer to Phoenix with eyes as sharp and hypnotizing as that of Isaac’s.
“With a profit like that, how could I put it off?” With that, the Phoenix signed the papers that were in front of her.
“Alright…” when the papers were finished, Nathan picked them up, assorted them and said his ‘good-byes’ to Phoenix before walking over to Lucisan to sit beside him.
Luc looked up tiredly at Nathan. "What's up Nathan?" He asked, voice just done with everything. "Did you and Isaac come together?"
“Yep” he replied easily before taking off his outermost coat and covering Lucisan.
“I don’t want you catching a cold here, the health services suck” he complained as he himself went to grab a book from the nearest shelf, sat down, and started reading it.
Lucisan gave a small laugh. "I think I'll be okay, remember, Candorin is one of the colder kingdoms." He reminded the other and handed the coat back to Nathan.
Nathan accepted it.
“Still, don’t catch a cold—“ he leaned against his seat and crossed his legs as he read the book “—Isaac won’t be happy” he mentioned, setting his coat on the seat.
Some people were walking in-and-out of the library. Nathan eyed them, but didn’t pay much attention as all of his attention was spent on the book in his hand and the royal beside him.
"I won't." Luc yawned, ignoring the Isaac comment, as one does when someone mentions a political marriage that goes against free will. It's not that Isaac isn't nice, or that the alliance wasn't needed…
Nathan glanced at Lucisan again.
You’re both still worried about it… that’s not good… he thought to himself. There was something else on his mind but that’s not something he should bring up to Luc.
He set the book down and sighed softly. He looked at Luc again with a blank expression.
“Well, you can sleep now, I’ll leave you be”
Fornax turned to Xara as his neck went back to normal.
“Hm? I’m fine, why?” He stared at the horizon.
“Well… I can ask another time, it’s getting late, you should get some rest” Fornax ended as he walked back towards the palace.
Cat continued watching for a moment. Then she let Plag hop off her lap and she sat back. She put on a smile and looked over at the Knight. "Hey watcha doin?"
“Hm?” The figure turned to Cat and smiled warmly.
“Just giving life back to something that deserved it” he answered as another bubble was sent towards a neighboring dead tree. When the water bubble popped, the water sank deep into the soil and the same event happened to that tree.
Lata took a step back, right hand going to her chin, not liking the feeling the Naga had left from his touch. Glaring at the smoke, the girl avoided it as best she could, running to Draco. "Are you alright? Is anything injured?" she asked, worried. She had never fought someone so powerful as to wave away her magic like a small insect. It frustrated her how arrogant the vessel had been. Lata only wished she had been able to do something more.
Nathan glanced at Lucisan again.
You’re both still worried about it… that’s not good… he thought to himself. There was something else on his mind but that’s not something he should bring up to Luc.
He set the book down and sighed softly. He looked at Luc again with a blank expression.
“Well, you can sleep now, I’ll leave you be”
"Alrighty, don't die, see you later nerd." He yawned again, giving a small wave and closing his books. Luc pulled his bag onto the table and rested his head onto it, watching Nathan.
Draco slowly got up.
“No no, I’m fine…” he placed his hand on his right cheek to which blood was clearly pouring out. The right side of Draco helm with shattered to by just a simple smash by the Naga.
“Heh… perhaps we need to find a better method of attacking if he does show up again…” he stood up straight and laughed ruefully at his opened bruise.
“Let’s head back to the palace, you need some rest”
"Yeah, Basilisk, some knight that got killed by his own teammate, I think" Quebec looked down at the miserable corpse "Well I'll take him to Horo-something- something….. Hup!" He exclaimed as he pulled the body up onto his back and carried it across the spiral stairs towards the left wing of the floor.
Nathan giggled a bit when Lucisan called him a ‘nerd’.
“I’ll come back with Isaac, we have some other business to clear up here” he ended as he grabbed his belongings and left the library.
"… Is coffee sold here?" Luc muttered, eyes closed then opened them as he spoke to himself. "Or is that another thing that should be added to the list of things that suck here?" He rolled his eyes.
“A-Alright…” the figure in the same hallway as Quebec blinked a bit before heading back the way they came from.
The left wing of the second floor was quite huge about was labelled, fortunately.
Not a minute of walking and a door with the tag Horologium was on Quebec’s right.
“There’s a coffee shop just outside the palace” the Librarian answered as he set down new books.
“Huh, the Soul Labyrinth, nice title” he muttered as he set the new arrivals in place.
