"I do not want you to put yourself in harms way. I want you safe above all else." Ethan stroked his skin affectionately.
"I do not want you to put yourself in harms way. I want you safe above all else." Ethan stroked his skin affectionately.
Raz leaned into Ethan "and just as you, I want you safe. I don't want this," he gestured towards the stitches "to ever happen again. Me and Jeremy are just doing a little digging, once we find the person, we'll let the cops handle it…hopefully."
Ethan pulled him into his embrace. "I cam handle this love. I dont want you to go amd try to fimd however did this. They're dangerous. You could be seriously injured. Please, let it go."
"I won't look for him personally but I do want something to be done about him. It isn't right that he still roams around when others are getting hurt," he glanced up at the other pleadingly "i promise I won't get either of us, me or Jeremy hurt."
Ethan sighed and kissed his forehead. "I just want you as far away from harm as possible."
"I won't even have to leave the comforts of home," he promised, leaning into Ethan and pressing a kiss to his chin "he knows what you do," he said softly "He promised not to say anything to the feds."
Ethan nodded ams squeezed him tight. "I trust you Raz, I do." He gently kissed the other's lips.
He hummed softly in response and pressed closer to Ethan "thank you, love." He murmered softly
Ethan laid down with Raz on his chest, avoiding his wound.
He pressed a kiss to Ethan's chest and snuggled close to him. "Your so warm," he murmered, tracing light circles along Ethan's chest and abdemen
Ethan chuckled quietly. He ran his hand up and down his back.
Raz made an appreciative sound and arched into Ethan's touch "my devil," he murmered
Ethan brushed his lips against his cheek. "All yours." He murmured
"hmm, yay!" he pressed kisses to Ethan's shoulder and snuggled deeper into the covers
Ethan smiled. He hugged him tight. "What do you want to today my love?"
He glanced up at Ethan and shrugged slightly "I have to finish up the book I'm writing for my editor today. We can go out to dinner later if you want," he said
"That sounds nice." Ethan kissed him quickly. "Go write away. Maybe some day you'll tell me what you're writing."
He chuckled softly and shook his head "only when it's done, which might take a long while since writers are truely never really done." He sat up and stretched, ruffling out his hair so it stuck out in places instead of being flat. "Imma start breakfast while you put some clothes on," he gave Ethan a teasing look before stading out of bed and heading to the kitchen
Ethan just smirked. He watched Raz's ass as he walked out of the bedroom. He rolled out of bed and dressed, groaning quietly as he pulled at his stitches. He couldn't wait for them to come out.
Raz started toast, eggs, and bacon on a stove top. Jax waited by his side, glancing every so often at the bacon and then at Raz with pleading eyes. Raz laughed and broke off a piece of bacon, crouching down to feed it to the husky. "there, that's it until you have your own breakfast." He ruffled the dog's head before going back to attend the breakfast.
Ethan slowly walked into the kitchen. He hoped Raz wouldn't be able to see his pain. He had pulled at his chest the wrong way while dressing. He was lucky he didn't rip them. He took his medicine quietly before sitting at the table, pulling a face in discomfort
Raz came over with two plates of food. Jax came in after him with a strip of bacon in his mouth. He settled beside Raz as he sat down to begin eating. Raz glanced up at Ethan and frowned slightly "what's wrong?" he asked softly, watching as Ethan tried to hide discomfort
"I'm fine love." Ethan brushed him off and started eating. He tried not to move too much
"YOu're not," he argued, glancing up at Ethan with a pointed look, not looking away for a few moments before starting to slowly eat.
"I am. I'm as well as I can be love. Please dont make yourself upset about it."
"Eth, I've been upset about this since the night you got shot, even more now that you brush it off as a normal occurance as if a bullet close to the heart were a scratch instead of a life threatening wound." He looked up at Ethan, having stopped eating and studied him carefully
"Raz, this is not the first time I've been shot and it likely won't be the last. So yes, I'm brushing it off." Ethan sighed. He ran a hand over his face. "This…this was a mistake." He stood, grimacing. "I'll be back later, don't wait up for me."
Raz sat in silence, a million thought's going through his head. It's the first time you've been shot around me. How do you know you'll survive the rest? What had been a mistake? He bit his lip and silently finished off his breakfast. He put Ethan's plate in the fridge for later and curled up on the couch with his computer and a thick blanket over his head, comforted by the darkness. He scooted over so Jax could have a place to sit. He plugged in headphones and tuned out the world as he began to write.
Ethan had apparently left some loose ends untied. How else would he have found himself in this situation? It should never had happened. It was his carelessness and his softeness he supposed that had caused this. Raz made him soft. It wasnt bad if only he could remember his coldness on the job. He had put Raz in danger. It could have easily been him that was shot insyead of Ethan. He would make sure that would never happen. He would never let anything bad happen to Raz, no matter what. He knew it would be best to let him go, Ethan was putting him in too much danger. But his heart wouldn't let him go. So he had to be careful, ve smart. He met with….an old friend he supposed. The two of them spoke, discussing how to resolve the situation quickly amd quietly. They would start looking for leads soon enough. Evening was beginning to fall as he arrived home. He walked in quietly and set his keys down. He knew him and Raz needed to talk. He was tired of this little banter between them.
Raz had moved out to the fire escape, needing to escape the stuffiness of the room. He had pulled on a large hoody and brought Jax's bed outside so the Husky had somewhere to sit while Raz continued to work. Trying to keep his mind off of Ethan, he continued to listen to music though his mind wandered to the other's whereabouts a few minutes into the song. He stood, shutting his computer in frustration and found his drawing sketchbook. He climbed his way up to the roof and sat on the edge, drawing inspiration from the sky and the city scape
