“What a story Luc, what a story” he set his glass down.
“Well? We can always raid Selas right? Both you and I know how strong our forces combined are” Isaac crossed his legs.
“Plus, the only ones I might leave alive are the constellation Knights and just kill the rest of the kingdom. I can put their souls to use for sure…” he paid his attention to the frozen bartender.
"Honestly, we probably could. It seems the government here can't keep their citizens in line. Apparently some of the knights are rebelling or something." Luc said, leaning back in his chair and showing off the cuts and bruises that were forming on his arms from it.
Draco looked around and started to walk towards a specific direction before stopping and looking up at the sky. Without a word, he turned back to Lata, grabbed her by her shoulders and jumped away from their spot. A second after they jumped, an explosion hit the ground, following it was a shadowy figure.
“Are you alright?” Draco asked, concerned of Lata’s wellbeing while he was also keeping an eye on the figure.
Lata was taken aback by the sudden movement, but looking back to where she was, Draco protected her from severe harm. "Fine. You?" she asked. Looking at the person before them she wondered if this was the person Cat had been complaining to Syzen about. She didn't notice anything in particular about the stranger, but it was hard to see their features.
“We’ve got company then, that’s nice. Unfortunately my three best warriors are on trip back to their homeland and aren’t so free at the moment, so having people who know about the kingdom on our side might be a great advantage” Isaac mentioned, sharpening his knife as he glanced at the bartender with cruel and sinister eyes.
Luc rubbed his eyes and sighed. "Don't kill the bartender Isaac." Luc took another sip of his drink, which he may have swapped out for water. Why did I get booze anyhow? I hate the taste.
(Isaac and Luc are just me with my friend.)
Draco shook his head as he stood up as his eyes widened. The golden crown of the armored figure was the first thing that was revealed from the smoke, following by green scales which looked extremely menacing. When the smoke faded completely, the armored figure bowed to the two as the several jewelry on them clanked. They then straightened their posture.
“Naga Vessel…” a mumble was heard from the helm which represented a Naga’s, a mythical serpent. Their golden wings fluttered as if they had a mind of their own.
Draco backed up slowly.
“Be careful… he’s not gonna leave easily I think” Draco whispered, standing right in front of Lata while holding his arms out.
(Hah! Same for me actually! XD)
Isaac flipped the knife and put in back in his jacket. “Fine, I’ll do it later… just kidding” he giggled a bit.
“Well, what do you plan to do now? Go with the flow of the kingdom or just rebel all the way?”
"Probably gonna rebel. I mean, it'll be a good way to get back at this kingdom. Cause some chaos, probably kill someone, maybe a royal for the hell of it. Great message to send, you shunned my kingdom so now I'm killing you." Luc said bluntly.

Lata pushed one of Draco's arms down, not liking the idea of appearing as if she were a coward. Even if she wasn't the most prepared for battle, she wanted to appear as if she was. She glared at the armored figure before them, prepared to fight if necessary, Though she had pushed away some of the other knight's protection, she stepped backwards as well, sensing the aura in the air. It was one of malice, that at least was clear.
“Hey—“ Isaac gave Lucisan an evil eye “—don’t read my mind on what I wanted to do” he chuckled a bit.
“I wanna help you on that actually. I can use a royal’s soul sometimes…” a faint blue mist surrounded Isaac’s body.
“Not now boy, we aren’t fighting anyone” he smiled at the mist as it disappeared.
Draco was a bit surprised when Lata pushed away his arm, though he understood her. He was like her after all.
“Well… shall we?” Draco’s armor covered him as he unsheathed his curved white blade.
"My power is getting the truth, not reading minds." He joked, finishing up his food. Luc raised an eyebrow at the mist and gave a small wave, smirking. "But honestly, the people in this kingdom aren't that smart."
“Oh, stupid’s the right word” Isaac corrected with a small laugh.
“Even the Generals, have you seen them during the civil war two years ago? They can’t do shit on their own” he took a big gulp of his drink.
“I still question myself as to how they got their position”
"Hm, probably from being stupid enough to be able to be controlled, sleeping their way up, and wealth." Luc hummed, turning a black ring on his pinky around as he spoke.
“That’s… from the event six months ago?” Isaac asked as he glanced at the ring with both confusion and slight disgust.
"Yeah, it's stuck on and I need something to fiddle with." Luc shrugged but stopped turning around the ring. "At least it keeps up appearance." He sighed and shrugged again.
Draco was a bit surprised when Lata pushed away his arm, though he understood her. He was like her after all.
“Well… shall we?” Draco’s armor covered him as he unsheathed his curved white blade.
Lata caught the other's eye and grinned. She was being given a chance. If she died, she'd rather die fighting. Though, she'd rather not actually get herself killed. "We shall," she replied in a similar fashion, bringing forth her magic.
Isaac looked at Lucisan’s eyes again. “Well—“ he looked at a similar ring on his own finger “—mine still looks decent as well” he sighed a bit, still maintaining the gray areas around them as time was still frozen.
Draco charged the figure first and called upon a medium-sized dragon to sink into his blade as he attempted to cut the figure’s chest plate. Once he arrived in front of the figure, the blade was struck down only to be met with such a resistance, the blade vibrated down to Draco’s hands.
The Naga Vessel turned to look at him before smacking him away, sending him flying at the faraway rock.
“Foolish knights… thinking you can penetrate this armor…?” The helm opened up slightly, revealing the Naga’s black and sinister eyes that held the hint of crimson “Don’t make me laugh”
(Just realized that this was still open. But what is happening and can I stalk?)
(You can still join if you wanna, and as for what’s happening right now, check your PM)
"I suppose so, my mother is just thrilled about it. My little sister wanted to be the one to marry you." Luc teased, setting his empty plates to the side and popping a stick of gum into his mouth. It was a weird subject for the two, but Luc tried to at least make it as not awkward as possible.
“Oh, speaking of them, how are they? I haven’t visited them for a while now… maybe I should stop by after I leave this place” Isaac stood up and started to pace around the tavern. He smiled ruefully at the floor for a moment and let out a soft sigh.
"They're doing alright. We've had some trouble with trade since we can only really trade with your kingdom, but luckily we're all used to not living in luxury." His eyes stayed on the other pacing, not having much else to do.
(Putting out here now [relatively important])
(For those of you who want to have your characters have pasts with some of my characters, PM me and we can talk about it. I’m open to any kind of relationship really and I think the story will be better if each character had some sort of past together with someone else :D)
(Yeet skeet, already done that XD)
“Ah, gotcha” he flicked his hat up once.
“Well, I’ll be on my way but I’ll come back here to you sweethe— geez, old habits die hard eh?” Isaac scratched the back of his neck nervously with a small laugh before he headed for the door.
“Well bye now, oh, and tell the bartender my cash’s on the counter” he left the tavern as time went back to normal with the one other customer and the bartender confused as they opened their eyes to see that a long time has passed.
Luc's face flushed for a second but regained his composure before time started again. He pointed to the money and set some of his own down. "The other man's and my money, I'll be off. Thank's for the meal."
The bartender nodded and bowed slightly.
“Thank you for coming!” He waved Lucisan a ‘goodbye’ and collected the cash.
Outside the old tavern, the number of people on the street depleted which resulted in a much quieter environment. The sun was starting to set as well.
Luc looked down at a map he had bought of the kingdom, the last time he had actually been there was when he was a kid, so he was a bit lost. "Alright, do I go back to the castle in hell or find a hotel…"
Draco charged the figure first and called upon a medium-sized dragon to sink into his blade as he attempted to cut the figure’s chest plate. Once he arrived in front of the figure, the blade was struck down only to be met with such a resistance, the blade vibrated down to Draco’s hands.

Lata's face fell seeing Draco so easily tossed to the side. Clenching her fist, she launched it upwards, summoning several dragons, a mix of both types of magic once again. In an instant, they flew towards the Naga Vessel in several different directions. "I don't give a damn if I break your disgusting armor or not. I'm just here to stand in your way," she spat, preparing another attack. Somehow, she knew the enemy before her was not going to take the attack easily.
