"How do you know I haven't died though?" he asked. "SHUT UP! YOU'RE NOT HIM ANYWAY! DEAD OR ALIVE!" She kicked him off the deck.

Lucian was about to start working when he heard the door slam open behind him. “Go sit on the cot and wait,” he said to whoever had barged in, but the back of his collar was grabbed and he was jerked backwards roughly, sent tumbling to the floor. It was the same girl as before, the sword in her hand now.

“Lucian!” The ‘woman’ shrieked angrily. “What are you doing?!”

He hissed sharply from a bruise that he was sure began forming as he scooted back, away from the monster. “You’re not real, I saw your body on a bloody stretcher in the hospital,” he hissed.

“You’re always trying to avoid me, these days, don’t you still care?” The ‘woman’ cried.

God, how that familiar voice pained him. He wanted to give in, he really did, but he had to worry about his crew.

Ryan's breaths were short rapid as he rocked back and forth, gripping his hair and tugging on it. Dead. I killed her. She's dead because I killed her…

“You’re not real,” Lucian said in a firmer tone, beginning to push to his feet, but he was met with a blow to his jaw from the woman’s heel, his head snapping back. He fell back, leaning against a wall now. He could taste blood in his mouth, and his breaths cane heavy.

“Lucian, please just stop fighting,” the woman said, her tone now soothing and gentle. “If you just stop, I can make it quick. Then, we can be together in the afterlife, forever, just like we planned.”

He clenched his jaw tightly. He couldn’t do this. He couldn’t..

Joanna took a shaky breath. Was Old Man Pablo really dead? She glanced around and dashed over to Ryan, who was crouching down on the ground. "Hey, Ry! It's okay. Whoever you're seeing, it's not them." She whispered urgently.
(Any idea when they get done fighting?)

"I'm not seeing them anymore…because I-" He choked on his words, rocking back and forth on his feet.

Lucian glanced around for something to use as a weapon as the woman crouched down next to him, her free hand cupping his face again. “Come on, aren’t you tired? You’ve had a long day,” the woman said, balancing the sword against his stomach. God, he was tired. He was exhausted. He was overworked half of the time, too.

"I'm not seeing them anymore…because I-" He choked on his words, rocking back and forth on his feet.

She shushed he gently. "Hey, hey, it's okay."

Ryan nodded, not wanting to trouble Joanna more with his problems. He stood up, sighing and smiling slightly.

Morrigan whirled around when she felt a hand on her shoulder, eyes widening when she saw her brother standing on her room. “D—David?” She reached out to touch him before pulling away. “No. I—it cant be you. This is a hallucination.” She backed away.

David stepped closer, form wavering slightly. “Morri, help me.”, he pleaded, eyes welling up with tears. It was then that she noticed that his left wing had been torn off, and her hand flew to her mouth. “I’m a prisoner Mor, help me! If you save me, I can stay with you, please!” He sounded so lost and helpless that Morrigan took a step forward, heart breaking for her baby brother.

Leah remained unconscious, her heartbeat a faint flutter. Wake up. She kept telling herself, Daso's voice breaking through some of her thoughts, but she couldn't. Wake up. God, everything hurt.

Cicada was still under, but she could feel her friend being hurt. She felt her mouth move as she said, “Don’t give up Lucy.”

Leah remained unconscious, her heartbeat a faint flutter. Wake up. She kept telling herself, Daso's voice breaking through some of her thoughts, but she couldn't. Wake up. God, everything hurt.

"Please, Leah, please!" Daso kept up the CPR, but he didn't know how long he was going to be able to keep going. He'd lost a lot of blood from his side, hand, and shoulder. "Wake up, Leah, please don't die."

( Ayye, she's going to wake up now.)

Leah's eyes opened slowly, her breathing coming out as short, choking gasps. She looked up at Daso, focusing her gaze on him. Even now, his outline was blurry as waves and rain crashed into the boat.

(Pull a snow white move. jk)

"Thank God…" he whispered, smoothing her hair away from her face gently. "Can you hear me, love? Can you sit up?"
