"Okay –" Then my phone rang. (I've changed everyone's names sligjtly, just so you know.) The ring tone was, "Nananatasha Nananatasha nanananana…" I face palmed and picked up. "Yes? What is it andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)?"
" *Jade and I are with Karen right now and he is genuinely worried. Just text him back idiot. " Then he hung up. "The perks of having guy friends." I said as I rolled my eyes.

I snort, almost knocking over someone’s Starbucks, which they really shouldn’t have in the library anyways. “What was that?”, I laugh.

"My friend made up a theme song for me." I said sarcastically.

"It really is." I whispered. I smiled and stood up. "I better head out. I hope I was of assitance." She grabbed the book she wanted, "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. and walked out.

I nodded at the other girl. "See you 'round then!" Then I finally made myself text Landen.
Hey, I'm alive. But I'm currently at the library with my siblings, so I couldn't respond right away.

Then I remembered something. "Wait! Here's my phone number." I said, sliding the hurridly scribble note towards her.

I handed her my phone number too. "Thanks!"

"Awesome." I shot her finger guns and spun on my heels to walk out. A good day for suuure.
