"No terribly bad, long lasting, side effects…. Right?" Quebec raised one of his brows as he questioned the compass looking.. Knight?
"As long as it doesn't involve heights…" Quebec glanced at Phoenix
"No terribly bad, long lasting, side effects…. Right?" Quebec raised one of his brows as he questioned the compass looking.. Knight?
"As long as it doesn't involve heights…" Quebec glanced at Phoenix
“Nope, it doesn’t involve heights” the compass knight confirmed as he started to chant a spell.
“Destined Travel” he muttered out and the three figures appeared in front of the palace.
“Here we are”
Luna nodded, smiling gently. "Thank you." She said, taking his hand.
The armored figures wings flapped as they created big gusts of wind.
“Hold on tight—“ the figure took off while holding onto Luna’s hands firmly. He started to fly towards the astral kingdom in the distance.
Luna held his hand tightly, looking down with wide eyes.
((Sorry, the internet cut out last night from a storm))
((Absolutely fine with that))
The knight glided down gently when they arrived by the kingdom’s area.
“We’re here” he said before flying downwards, landing in the streets in front of the palace where the locals were walking around.
“By the way, I’m Pegasus, nice to meet you”
"Luna." She said, smiling. "Thank you, sir."
“My pleasure” the knight ended with a peace sign and a smile before taking off once more, now with a much faster speed.
Luna waved, turning to find her way to where she was supposed to meet.
The palace was just down the street where Pegasus dropped Luna down. It was easy to see but relatively hard to get to because of the number of people on the street.
"Excuse me, sorry, pardon-" She mumbled, trying to weave through the crowd. So different from home-
Eventually, Luna would find herself in front of the palace where three people were talking; two of which were in armor. The other had a badge by their side.
"Excuse me?" Luna asked, walking up to them. "I, um, I got a letter…"
Quebec turned towards Luna and noticed the badge reflect sunlight into his eyes.
"Oh, hey" He looked at the girl
The two armored figures turned to Luna.
“You must the Cancer wielder, correct?” The figure with an armor that has compasses as shoulder pads asked while the other figure who was a female crossed her arms.
"Hello." She said, smiling softly. "I believe I am. My name is Luna. And you are…?"
"Quebec Maske" He kept his badge in his pocket. Badges weren't his favorite accessories, especially ones that stand out and shines into someone else's eyes.
The two armored figures looked at each other.
“I’m Pyxis” the male introduced himself.
“…and I’m Phoenix” the female followed.
“We’re both Knights who are following the routes of General Frensa” they said in unison.
"Nice to meet you!" She said, adjusting her bag slightly.
Pyxis cleared his throat.
“I’ll guide both of you through the hall, follow me” he suggested, walking to the entrance doors and opening them.
"Hey, Pyxis, Phoenix, are you like.. Relatives?" Quebec asked tilting his head to look at their faces. "Like….brothers sisters?"
Luna trailed after them, a bit awkwardly.
“Not blood related but we do act and look like siblings” Phoenix answered as Pyxis nodded in agreement. With their physical features, it’s not surprising as to why people would think they’re blood related.
"… Ok?" Quebec slowed his pace back to where Luna was following the two knights. He observed the halls and doors. Woah….
Gradually they were led into the left hall.
Pyxis knocked on the door twice and opened it.
“Excuse me sir” the tone of his changed in a more formal one.
“Oh, Pyxis and… Aquarius and Cancer?” The young looking man at the end of the table raised a brow at the people.
Matthew turned to the door and recognized one of the figures.
“Oh hey Que, you’re not buying anything today unfortunately” he joked with one of his customers.
Luna nodded, a bit confused. "My name is Luna, sir." She said, standing a bit straighter.
"Matthew? Wow, you didn't even came to pick me up, your best customer!" Quebec laughed and walked up to Matthew, patting his back. "So? Who's she?" He whispered and nodded his head towards Xara.
“Eh… seems fair” the figure tapped his chin.
“Alright then, in that case I’ll be going there now. Hopefully I’ll meet you there” he tossed the badge up as it flashed and the man disappeared with it without a trace.
Cat stared at the place where he'd disappeared for a moment. Then she shook her head and started walking forward again. Plag was perched up on her shoulder like a statue. He was often on her shoulders or in her hood when they were traveling. It was easier for both of them. Plag could go a long time, but his legs were too short to keep up with Cat's stride.
The man at the end of the table nodded.
“Yes I know, I just like to call people by their constellation code” he claimed with a soft smile.
“Alright, have your seats” the Aquarius and the Cancer marked seats lit up.
Matthew chuckled softly.
“Dude—“ he turned to face his best customer “—as if I had the time” he laughed a little as he said the sentence out loud.
“And she’s Xara, apparently the wielder of Leo” he whispered back.
Luna sat, looking around. I don't know anyone here. Help.
(Now… who do I want to send to Cat…)
Another figure walked up to Cat. They had chains on their left arm and a badge on their vest.
“Hi!” The figure greeted Cat with his unchained arm. Their appearance was… interesting.
They had straight green hair, sharp blue eyes, pale skin, and sunglasses.
Matthew turned his attention to the new female.
“Hi, what’s your name?” He asked the figure with a warm smile. He seemed extremely friendly.
