I don't think so. Lucas tugged at the collar of his own shirt, as it was getting a bit hot from the sun.
I don't think so. Lucas tugged at the collar of his own shirt, as it was getting a bit hot from the sun.
Callie eventually let him go, sitting up in the bed and letting Lucas do whatever he needed. It was getting rather hot directly under the sun.
Lucas sat up and stretched, standing to go over into his closet to change. He came out wearing a white zip up jacket and plain skinny jeans.
Callie smiled, standing on his feet after a couple of moments. He was wearing the same clothes as he had yesterday - jeans, a green t-shirt, and that leather jacket.
Lucas went over to a mirror and started to comb his hair, seeming like he'd done it the same way for years. He set the comb down when he was satisfied with it and went over to Callie.
Callie ran a couple fingers through his hair, not particularly minding any way it was. It surely hadn't looked any better yesterday, so whatever it was today would be fine. He hoped.
How do I look? Lucas turned around in a circle with a slight flourish, holding his hands out a bit at his hips.
You look amazing, Callie signed to him, smiling at his actions. As usual.
Lucas grinned, blushing a bit as he hugged Callie tightly. (How tall is Callie, by the way?) Have you ever seen me in public other than yesterday?
((he's like 5'9")
Callie hugged him back, pulling away just a small bit to sign. No, actually. Never.
(Cool)
That's understandable. I'm only really supposed to go out for weddings and important events and stuff. Lucas hummed, tilting his head up a bit to kiss Callie's jaw.
((how tall is lucas then))
Callie smiled, leaning forward to quickly kiss Lucas on the lips. He'd seen Lucas in pictures and videos and things before, but he was all the better up close.
(About 5'6)
Lucas smiled again, kissing him back. He held up the sign for 'I love you' once he pulled away.
((aight))
Callie did the same, light reflecting off of his hand as he held it up. It was rather poetic, but it didn't last long as a cloud crossed the sky.
What now? Lucas glanced out the window again, folding his arms.
((oh dearie not the inevitable 'what do you want to do today' we need something))
(Climb out the window into the garden?)
((kool beans))
Callie glanced out the window, getting a sudden idea in the back of his head, yet another impulsive thought. You said you wanted to see the gardens?
I guess so. Why? Lucas followed Callie's gaze, but didn't seem to quite understand.
You could see it today. If you want. Something to do, Callie offered, looking out. It wasn't even a full story fall, something Callie could easily recover from.
(There's also the willow tree and balconies lol. What if you just grabbed Lucas and yeeted yourself out a window?)
Really? How? Lucas put his hands in his pockets.
((lmao fair))
Callie gestured out the window. There's trees, and balconies, and from there it's not too far of a jump. I could catch you.
Lucas glanced between the window and Callie for a couple seconds. We're jumping out of a window?
Well, more like climbing out. And only if you want to, Callie told him, deciding that they could use the balcony and then the willow branch before jumping down.
He considered for a bit. Okay. Just be careful He reproachfully went to the window.
Callie smiled, opening it and holding it in place before stepping out onto the balcony railing and then to a tree branch, looking back to give Lucas help if he needed it.
Lucas tentatively climbed over the railing and stayed pressed up against it, looking rather nervous.
Callie stood on the branch, walking over to the edge of the balcony and slipping his arm across Lucas' waist, guiding him carefully down to the branch.
Lucas clung tightly to Callie, his legs quivering. He didn't think this was a great idea, but he couldn't communicate that to Callie at the moment.
From there, Callie made his way carefully to the trunk of the tree, slowly climbing down the branches until he came to where they ended. The jump from there wasn't even a story tall, something Callie could easily take.
