Jax let out a loud laugh, "Really? Mind telling me the story?"

"I was a very, very stupid seven year old. I mean, I'm still stupid, but I was worse then." He said. "So I saw this goose, and my brain went 'fluffy bird!' and I tried to hug it, and, well…"

Jackson was laughing, "Oh my lordie. That sounds like some stupid thing a kid would do."

Eric giggled. "Yeah, I've always been a dumbass…"

"That's nice to know," Jackson had a smile on before it fell a little as he spotted someone from his family's church. He tried not to make eye contact as the man walked along the other side of the pond. Please don't notice me. Thankfully, the man walked on and out of the park.

"…You okay?" Eric whispered, seeing the change in his mood.

"Um, yeah fine," Jackson shook his head a little, "Just saw someone I recognized, that's all."

"Oh." Eric said, a bit awkwardly. "…Did they see us?"

"I don't think so," Jackson responded with a sigh of relief, "He would have come over otherwise."

"Good." Eric said, smiling softly.

Jackson smiled back at Eric, "Really good, but we should probably part ways now. As much as I don't want to."

Eric nodded, biting his lip. "Yeah, it's getting a bit late…"

Jackson looked around before looking to Eric, "Can I give you a kiss goodbye?"

Eric nodded. "If you wanna…"

Jackson gave one more cautious glance before leaning down and giving Eric a quick peck on the lips, "There. Now we can go our separate ways."

Eric smiled, looking up at him. "Night, angel."

"Goodnight darling," Jackson smiled softly back, "I'll see you tomorrow?"

Eric nodded. "Yeah. Tomorrow." He said, still smiling.

Jackson began to walk towards where he lived, "Yep. Tomorrow."

Eric turned and started walking, a little giddy. Oh my God that happened holy shit-

Jackson had a happy smile on as he walked along. I did that, holy shit I did that.

Eric finally made it home, rushing to his room to avoid his father, locking the door and dropping on his bed, hugging a pillow. *He likes me… He said I'm cute… he likes me!"

Jackson made it home and made a sprint to his room despite his yelling mother for him to come to the dinner table. He yelled back he wanted to finish up his homework since his excuse for coming home late was a homework group with Lillian that he had given his parents that morning. She seemed happy with that answer and he made it to his room to freak out about everything that just happened.

Eric sat up, still grinning. "Oh my god-"

Jackson had a bright smile on and he just laid in bed for a while, just thinking about everything that happened today.

Eric eventually picked up his guitar and a notebook, writing something.

After a while, Jackson managed to ride off the adrenaline, He took a deep breath before going downstairs to join his family at the dinner table, where they would say the lord's prayer, and he would have to disregard his sexuality.

Eric sat up in his room, ignoring what was happening outside.
