Crystal had fallen asleep, curled up much like a fox on the bed. She couldn't help it. But her ears flicked and perked every once in a while at strange new voices and sounds, growls and whispers. (I have never played Crystal in a sort of bad-guy villian esque roll before. If you guys kill her though, be humane about it. She's my favorite character and I put in a lot of love, so just. A little kindness is all I ask.)
(Not that dark, lights in the cell block)
(We may not kill off really anyone tbh)
(Okay awesome. Anyways Slash maybe you should interject? Get things moving)
Dave looks over at everyone in the cell block, Jesus Christ, he thinks, as Dr. Sam walks in the cell block, "Alright, time for tests, I'll take, hmmmmm, Maggie."
Crystal woke up as soon as she heard Dr.Sam and got up, her face pressing to the bars as she looked out, eyes training on him. She glared a little and huffed, returning to her bed. She knew she was close to not being in a cell and having an actual office so she held her tongue of her complaints about the guards.
Maggie froze with wide eyes when the man called her name. ”What do you want with me?” she asked as the guards approached her cell.
Scott is woken up and see guards approaching. He quickly tries to move his hands, forgetting that they're still cuffed to a bar. He sighs quietly because this position was getting uncomfortable.
"Oh and also, get Scott and Dave for tests"
Dave went to the back of the cell in fear and fell to the ground.
Crystal watched and paced, cursing and praying she wouldn't be called for testing, her ears flicking with annoyance and attention. She was just trying to survive, maybe reverse the damage that's been done to her, and get out with the clothes on her back still there. She didn't care what it took, but for now she just did what she was told and tried not to black out.
"I would go, except that I'm still cuffed." Scott lies, he doesn't want to be here.
Crystal spoke up suddenly. "Dr.Sam has keys. He can unlock you." She says plainly, and returned to her book as she felt the doctor glare at her.
Dr.Sam goes to Scott's cell and unlocks him and puts him in the guard's supervision. Then he goes to Dave's cell and unlocks him, Dave quickly restraints and uses the reason why he is here, which is his power to control minds, to make Dr. Sam and the guards put Scott back in his cell without locking him completely up
Crystal watched, shook her head, and just minded her business. She had watched her friends die here, they had broken Crystal down pretty well, so she knew to go when needed.
"Um, you said that I will be needed for some tests." Scott asked confused.
"Don't worry he'll be leaving to go do whatever now, right?" Dave said to Scott and Dr. Sam. Dr. Sam replied with "Yeah of course".
"But guess what I got?" Dave asks Scott
Caspian had to physically bite his lip to keep from calling out—to demand what the hell was going on. He was afraid of drawing too much attention to himself and being forced into whatever "tests" these freaks had in mind. Cas was just your typical human being—minus the ocular albinism, of course, which didn't even do anything except make his eyesight bad and his life suck. Maybe if he just kept his head down and didn't say anything…
Dave holds up some keys and jingles them in the air.
As soon as her cell door was open, Maggie let out a roar sounding more like it belonged to a tiger. ”I said what do you want with us?” she snarled.
Scott smiled a little while signaling in sign language, "Don't make it that obvious."
Diara had been watching the movement of the others from his cell quietly. He perked up at the sight of sign and moved to the edge of his cell. He brought attention to himself by tapping on the metal bars then looked at Scott. "You sign?"
Dave said, "Whatever, I can just wipe their memory".
Crystal continued to watch, putting away her book this time, braving Dr.Sam and his lip. "Doctor…do you need me?" She said, speaking quietly but strong so she could still be heard.
"We need a way to counter Test 203" Dr. Sam said to Crystal
Emaelia had been listening to the whole ordeal, honestly a little bored. She peeked an eye open, wondering if anyone else in the cells was awake, and seeing as most, if not all of them were awake she opened the other eye. She had been here a while, so she just sat back, waiting for her turn. Don't get her wrong - she didn't enjoy the tests, but she had learned enough that if she protested, stuff would happen. Bad stuff, in her opinion.
Dave unlocks his own cell and then opens the rest of the cells, "Let's get out of here."
