Rose strolled into class, fourth period english, her black stillettos clacking on the floor, and as always, closely followed by Ashley and Ellie. She took a seat in the back row, where she could closely examine all the students, Ashley and Ellie sitting on either side of her.

amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) walked into class just before the bell, and headed for the back row - only to stop abruptly and look around. Of course, the only free seat was directly in front of Rosethorn. She sighed and made her way to the empty seat.

"Oh look it's her again!" her friends whispered to Rose, who glared at them. "I know," she replied in annoyance. Narrowing her eyes, she said, "It's you again."

"How incredible. You can see through your fake eyelashes," Any commented drily, rifling through her bag.

"Oh get lost, will you?" Rose replied, with no hint of emotion in her voice. Long ago she had perfected this habit, to protect herself.

"See, I would, but unfortunately, we're in a school right now, I don't know if you could tell, and if I were to 'get lost,' then there would be consequences. Do you know what that word means?" She asked, sarcasm dripping from every word.
