"I never said it was what I wanted, I was just saying you don't sound very interested."

“I do want to go.” He said, having made up his mind. He smiled softly. “So where is it anyway?”

"On the outskirts of the city," Kyle replied, brightening up the tiniest bit, "I read about it in a book, it had a map."

“Well we should get going then, shall we?” He said as he linked his arm with Kyle’s.

Kyle nodded, smiling softly up at Caleb as he led them out the door and onto the street.

Caleb smiled as well. He kept pace with Kyle as they walked, enjoying the outdoors.

Kyle had brightened up considerable since they got outside, soaking up the sunlight. He didn't know when he'd have to go back inside and was going to enjoy the time he had.

Caleb was just watching him, happy to see Kyle smile. As they walked, Caleb planted a kiss on Kyle’s hand.

Kyle looked up at Caleb and grinned. He kissed the back of Caleb's hand, too.

His smile widened. “You’re my favorite person in the entire world, you know that?”

Kyle giggled, leaning into Caleb side, "Yeah I know You tell me that allll the time."

He laughed. “Yeah I guess you’re right. I do say it a lot.”

"Not that I'm complaining though," He added quickly, "It's cute."

He blushed softly. “Aww you think I’m cute? Thanks babe. Anyway, how long until we get there?”

"Not long now," Kyle replied, swinging their hands back and forth, "It's just round the corner."

He nodded, looking over at him with a loving smile.

Eventually, they rounded the corner and there was a large set of gates. Behind, rows and rows of different flowers and trees and other plant life.

“You’re right, it does look beautiful.”

“Come on!” Kyle tugged at his hand, pulling Caleb towards the gates.

“Okay, okay! I’m coming!” He said, walking with Kyle inside the gates.

He giggled, giving his hand a squeeze as they walked through the gates and into the park.

Caleb was just loving seeing Kyle so happy. It definitely reminded him of when they first fell in love, and he couldn’t help but smile at the memories.

Kyle looked up at him, noticing the smile, "What?" He asked, blushing very lightly.

“Nothing. Just remembering how lucky I am to have you.” He said lovingly.

The blush darkened and he tucked his cheek against his shoulder to hide it, “Flirt…”

He laughed. “You know it.” He replied with a grin, leaning in and planting a gentle kiss on Kyle’s forehead. “I love you”

Kyle grinned up at him, “I love you too.” He pressed a kiss back to Caleb’s jawline.

Caleb smiled. “So, are you having fun babe?”

Kyle nodded, turning back to the garden, “Yep! The flowers are so pretty.. and delicate.”

“Yeah….they really are.” He replied. He gently grabbed Kyle’s hand, intertwining their fingers together.
