Oops, yeah sry

@MonocarpicCathartic

Well, I guess that's almost a resolution. And besides the fact that my nickname is a disease (which under normal circumstances I would totally laugh at, for the record), I can live with it. I'm going to post my response now to the rp, if that's alright and not interrupting anything?

@MonocarpicCathartic

Jensen wandered around the corner to see the small group forming, catching his interest and prompting him to investigate. As he drew closer, he spotted Cade retrieving what looked to be some sort of drawing pad, and decided to stick around for the reveal. "Hey," he greeted, smirking and waving with a two-finger salute. His hair was down today, although the hair tie around his wrist suggested that could change at any moment, especially when he kept playing with it like he was. "What's up?" As typical of him, Jensen didn't bother with an introduction. Most people knew him from the school newspaper or as the photographer for the yearbook, or even the poetry or debate club, if they were into that. Not to mention the reputation he had with nearly all of the faculty at the school.

“Yo.” Alta waved back at him. “Cade drew a skull.”

@Low_Mein

Nico notices the skull drawing that Cade is holding and joins the group to say hi. "Hey, that looks awesome! Did you draw that?"

@V01DtheFae group

Cade drew out an amazingly detailed picture of two skulls one on each side of the paper one was gory the other had a hole in the side of it's skull that show a scene at night with flowers surrounding it "Sorry it took so long"

“They’re amazing, Cade. We know you can’t rush art. By the way, how is everyone?”

@V01DtheFae group

"At home or at the hideout?" Cade answered in a hushed but subtle joking in her tone "I'm doin good. I give the same question to y'all as well"

@MonocarpicCathartic

"It's interesting," Jensen commented, examining the detail of the drawings. His own sketches were typically less gruesome, being a fashion designer in the making, but even he could appreciate the time it must've taken her to complete the picture. "Your shading is outstanding, and I love the contrast between the flowers and the skull," he added, glancing away from the drawing to look between the two. He tilted his head at the word 'hideout', but decided not to mention it just yet. He'd wait for Alta to respond, and see if Cade offered any explanation. That decided, he propped a hand against the lockers and began sifting through his messenger bag for something.

@V01DtheFae group

Cade had put a piece of paper towel over the drawing to make sure it didn't smudge and gently put in back in her bag then pulled out her phone and pulled up MediBang and started working on a request drawing she started a few weeks ago

“What about you, Jensen? Working on anything?” Alta watched him dig through his bag curiously.

@MonocarpicCathartic

Jensen grinned at their interest, replying enthusiastically with a, "You know it." He finally finished retrieving the most recent copy of the school newspaper. It had yet to be distributed, but for now he wanted to draw their attention to one of the stories he'd highlighted. The headline was obscured by a crease from having been folded in his bag—damn the school's cheap ink—but the highlighted section read: Miss Gertrude, one of the school's beloved lunch ladies, was recently arrested for the armed robbery of a downtown pawn shop. "It's awful," Shawn Hefer comments. As a senior, he's seen her nearly every school day for four years. "She was always so nice to me in the lunch line." Sherry Banes, a sophmore, adds, "It's scary to think she would do something like that. I'm sure her pay wasn't great, but it's no reason to rob a place." While this is the first time the school has been directly connected to a felony

The story seemed to continue, but the rest of it was being obscured by Jensen's hand. "Crazy, huh?" he asked when he was sure they were done reading. "I've known her since freshman year, but hey—I guess a lot goes on inside a person's head that we don't know about." He smiled a little, almost thoughtfully, before tucking the newspaper back into his bag. "If you want to learn more, you can buy a copy at lunch for only twenty-five cents. Ya know, capitalism and all that. Or–and I'm not supposed to tell you this," he warned, lowering his voice and leaning closer. "You could look it up online." He gave a shrug and another, more genuine smile, before deciding that was his cue to leave and travelling about twenty lockers to access his own.

Alta’s eyes widened. “No way. That lady seemed so sweet.”
