Phoenix looked at him. "Well, it's time. I'm not looking forward to this."
Phoenix looked at him. "Well, it's time. I'm not looking forward to this."
Corian nodded with a shrug. "Yeah."
"We'll win this," Phoenix said.
He nodded. "I know."
"Let's do this!" Phoenix said.
He grinned. "Great."
Then the Games were only a minute from beginning.
They were in the tubes, waiting on the stone circles for the games to begin.
The minute was soon over and the 100th Annual Hunger Games began.
Corian raced to the cornucopia, grabbing a knife and sword, then racing away again.
Phoenix grabbed herself a sword and whatever else she could grab that she found useful.
Corian raced for the trees, knowing he needed to get away from the blooodbath that would be the cornucopia.
The Career Pack gathered up their stuff and set up an area for their base.
He turned, angling for the rest of the careers. We made an alliance beforehand. It'll be fine. He thought.
Phoenix saw him in the distance.
He kept coming towards them.
"Oh, hey! There you are!" Phoenix said.
He waved, stopping. "Hey."
Phoenix looked at the other Careers. "He's fine. He's one of us."
Jonas nodded. "We trained with him. He's an ally."
Corian's eyes flickered around the group, taking stock of them.
"Anyway, we need a strategy," Jonas said.
Corian remained silent, crossing his arms slightly.
"Does anyone have any ideas?" Jonas asked.
Corian shook his head. "Not really."
"I was busy with him so I never paid attention to the other tributes," Phoenix said.
Corian raised an eyebrow slightly, but didn't say anything.
"Training, remember?" Phoenix said.
He nodded. "Yeah." He sighed softly.
"Anyone?" Jonas asked.
Corian shrugged. Survive? I don't know.
