"I see no reason not to," Celeste grinned at Mary's delight. She would enjoy trying to bake with Mary; it would be interesting, to say the least.
"I see no reason not to," Celeste grinned at Mary's delight. She would enjoy trying to bake with Mary; it would be interesting, to say the least.
Mary gave a wide smile, looking like a kid in a candy store. "That would be amazing! The old baker used to make cookies before sweets were, for some reason, outlawed in the town."
Celeste could help but laugh sweetly at Mary's reaction.
"Well, we'll just have to make lots then."
Mary's eyes went wide. "We will?" She asked, a bit childish, she was exited, okay.
Celeste nodded.
"We will." She couldn't help but put an arm around Mary's back; she was just so adorable when she got like this.
Mary didn't get a lot of physical contact, so she leaned into it with a smile. "I can't wait." She breathed.
Celeste smiled when Mary leaned into her.
"You're too adorable," she said quietly.
"I think you need to go look into a mirror and repeat those words." Mary retorted.
"Ah, but then they wouldn't be half as true," Celeste countered. She couldn't help but flirt with Mary; she seemed like a good person, and she was pretty dang cute.
"Well then you'd be lying to yourself and we know that lying is a bad thing." She flirted right back.
"I could say the same of you," Celeste smirked, taking Mary's hand in hers gently.
"Well you're a god and we know gods are the most beautiful people out there." She didn't move to get her hand out of the hold and instead let it relax.
"Well I say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder says you're much more beautiful than me." Celeste smiled, rubbing her thumb along Mary's hand.
(Gods damnit Swim, I'm running out of pickup lines!)
"Well, I have a straight fact for you." She took in a deep breath. "Your are the prettiest and kindest woman I have ever met."
(Don't worry, so am I!)
(I'm just gonna have to make Celeste go do her job)
"Aw, thank you!" Celeste smiled enjoying holding Mary. Unfortunately, it was not to last. A star flew into the room, hovering in front of Celeste and Mary. Celeste pursed her lips when she saw it.
Mary turned her full attention to the star, eyes wide with intrest. "What's this?"
"This," Celeste said, begrudgingly letting go of Mary and standing, "is a sign. It means I have to go perform one of my tasks as Goddess." She cupped the star in one hand, holding it.
"You can come if you want to, but you don't have to."
Mary followed suit in standing up, watching the light in the goddess's hand for a moment before grabbing her other and speaking. "I'd like to come."
Celeste smiled down at Mary, holding her hand tenderly.
"Then let's go." She led Mary out of the room, going further down the hall. She seemed in a hurry, and she was half tempted to just pick Mary up and carry her, but she refrained.
Mary held on tightly, though this place was amazing, it was still new and scary. She noticed that Celeste was in a hurry so she tried to walk faster to keep up with the goddess.
Realizing that at this pace they wouldn't reach where they needed to be on time, Celeste paused for a moment, scooping Mary up in one arm.
"Sorry for the suddenness, but we can't really be late for this," she apologized.
Mary's face went hot and bright red that was more of a ruby than any gem. "It's- It's alright." She stuttered out, her only thoughts were: Strong, hot lady carrying me.
With that, Celeste started down the hall again, careful to hold Mary gently as they went farther and farther. Finally, she stopped in front of a dark black door. It looked charred in places.
(Lesbain Brain vs. Normal Brain.)
Mary cocked her head at the door, face still red. "Why's the door burnt in places?" She asked softly.
"This is where I meet with the Underground gods," Celeste said calmly, the star in her hand shivering slightly at the mention of the Underground.
"Oh dear, I'm guessing some of them got angry at you?" She muttered as she looked at the door. "Am I able to hold the star? It looks afraid."
"It was a long time ago." Celeste held her hand towards Mary. The star floated towards Mary's hand; it seemed the star wanted to be held.
