Sorin yawned and narrowed his eyes on the bloodied-bandages. "We need to clean that though before we go anywhere."
Sorin yawned and narrowed his eyes on the bloodied-bandages. "We need to clean that though before we go anywhere."
Cas whined. "But cleaning it huuurts…" He dug through Sorin's drawer instead of his own little pile of clothes.
"I know, I know," Sorin stood up and cupped his cheeks. "But I have to. It's for your own good." He glanced at Cas's pile of clothes. "And maybe when we're done climbing trees, I could buy you more of those."
"Mm." Cas pulled on one of Sorin's hoodies that was far too large for him. He turned towards Sorin and held his arms out with the sleeves hanging loosely over his hands. The bottom of the hoodie nearly reached his knees.
His lips curled slightly and became broader the more he took in his adorable appearance. Sorin chuckled at the thought of having him wear his clothes everyday– he certainly wouldn't mind it at all.
"You look so cute," Sorin squished his cheeks and rubbed his nose against the tip of his.
"Soriiin…" Cas whined, bringing his hoodie sleeve covered hands up to Sorin's face. "Your clothes are too big for me, but… they smell like you…" He said quietly, moving his hands to his own chest to fidget with the sleeves.
"Awww. Look at you. You're so adorable." His stroked his cheeks with his thumb, smiling at him delightfully. "You can keep the hoodie if you'd like."
"Really?" Cas looked back up at Sorin, a pure smile gracing his features. His ears perked up as well, and his tail curled up into an 'S' shape.
"Yes, really," he planted a wet kiss on his cheek. "Now, wait here so I can get the first-aid kit."
"Noooo…" Cas sat on the floor, making small, frustrated huffing noises. He pressed his knees up to his chest while he reluctantly waited for Sorin to return.
Sorin quickly ran back with the box and sighed upon seeing Cas on the floor. "Okay, c'mon Cas," he patted the bed. "I'll make it as quick as possible."
Cas hesitated for several seconds before tentatively crawling over and onto the bed, sitting in Sorin's lap.
He unwrapped the bandages carefully and set them on the sheet of paper he placed next to him. Sorin on rubbed some hand sanitizer before he began opening a wipe.
Cas's heart pounded in his chest and he seemed to be holding his breath as he watched Sorin. When the rubbing alcohol touched the wound, he tugged the collar of the hoodie over the lower half of his face with his free hand, trembling.
He cleaned his cuts thoroughly, kissing the knuckles of his free hand in place of apologies. He rubbed on some of the antibiotics and wrapped his arm.
Cas whimpered and whined like the dramatic little fuck he is, huddling against Sorin through the entire process.
Sorin stroked his hair. "Hey, you're done now, it's okay. We won't have to do this again 'till tomorrow, alright?"
"But it huuurts…" Cas whined loudly, tugging his collar over his chin and cheeks again.
"It hurts, but it's for your own good. Infections, remember? They're not good to have and they're a pain to deal with."
Cas huffed, turning away. "…But it hurts.."
"I know, sweetie, I know," he nuzzled into his neck.
Cas sighed softly. "I should probably put some pants on before we go to the park."
Sorin smiled and shrugged. "You look fine. But if you want to, you can."
Cas got up and pulled on some shorts. "Alright, let's go."
He quickly threw on a pair of joggers before he carried Cas outside. The air was a bit cooler than before, most likely for the upcoming fall season. Sorin extended and stretched out his wings before taking off.
Cas shivered until he got accustomed to the colder temperature, seeming okay by the time they arrived. Once they landed, he started to look at the trees to see which ones would be best for climbing.
Sorin hung his arm around his shoulder and looked at him curiously. "What are you looking for?" He asked as he tried following his gaze.
"Trees." Cas found a good one and jumped up to grab the branch. He swung his legs up to cling to the branch, so now he was hanging upside by his arms and legs like a sloth. He was about eye level with Sorin by now, though as previously mentioned, he was upside down.
"Hey, hey," Sorin let out a soft chuckle, "careful. I don't want you to fall." People were eyeing them, only a few looking in awe.
"Pfft. I'll be good. I'm great at climbing trees." Cas managed to flip himself right side up and climbed higher.
