He chuckled. "It's alright, Arabella. Don't worry. Most of us dont mind." He led her to the door, still holding her hand gently. Her hand is so small… He thought.
He chuckled. "It's alright, Arabella. Don't worry. Most of us dont mind." He led her to the door, still holding her hand gently. Her hand is so small… He thought.
Arabella made no comment nor did she make a move to let go of his hand. She was perfectly fine with holding his hand as they walked. It made her feel… secure?
The taste of the desert still lingered on her tongue. She wanted more of it. “Mm when can we make that desert? It was so good.”
He chuckled. "I'll send an email asking for the recipe, don't worry. We'll eat it at some point soon, i pronise." He led her out to the car, opening the door for her. "Do you want to stop anywhere on the way home? Ice cream, shopping, movie." He asked, looking at her with a small smile.
Arabella looked up at him and smiled brightly, laughing softly. “No. Nowhere but home. I need to take off this dress… it’s restrictive.” She murmured, blushing lightly. It was extremely hard to move her arms. It was tight around her bust and waist.
Asher nodded, closing her door after she sat down, and got in the car, starting it up. "Alright." He chuckled softly, and started driving.
She let her hands rest in her lap, a soft sigh leaving her lips. She relaxed completely, her shoulders slumping. “That was so exhausting…” she murmured. “It’s hard showing that much affection and being sincere isn’t it?” She asked softly, looking up at him with wide green eyes. Truth be told, she had been sincere…
He nodded, then shrugged. "It…wasn't, actually." He replied, keeping his eyes on the road so he didn't crash. "I mean, maybe for you? But it wasn't that hard for me." He admitted, biting his lower lip slightly.
She looked away. She couldn’t admit how much she had actually meant her affection. Not after her fit. “Mm… I’m glad it wasn’t hard for you…” she murmured softly, leaning over and resting her head on his shoulder. “I liked it.”
He smiled at her. "Oh. Good." He replied, reaching one hand over to gently pet her hair (not in a weird way in a cute way lol), then returned his hand to the steering wheel. He continued driving.
(Haha I assumed so)
She giggled softly at the pet and nuzzled into his sleeve, humming happily. The female was soon asleep, her exhaustion finally getting the best of her. Added on top of the stress she had felt was all the food she had eaten. And eating a lot always made her tired.
Asher smiled slightly as he drove, letting her lean on him. When they reached the house, he stopped the car, looking down at her for a moment.
She looked peaceful, and soft as she snored away, her nose buried in the sleeve of his jacket and hands laying peacefully in her lap. For once she looked almost normal, like any other female.
He smiled slightly, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, and picked her up, carrying her into the house. He glanced down at her with a small smile as he carried her up to their bedroom. If she woke up and wanted him to put her down, he would. But otherwise…he wasn't going to put her down anywhere except on the bed.
She whined and shifted softly when they were nearly to the bedroom. She yawned, her small pink tongue sticking out as she opened an eye blearily. “Are we home?” She asked, leaning into his chest and humming as she closed her eyes once more. “I’m tired… and I want more desert~”
He chuckled softly. "Yes, we're home. And if you're tired, you can go to bed. As for dessert…not right now. I don't have the recipe yet. But once i do, we can make it." He replied, opening the door to the bedroom and setting her down on the bed, tucking the covers over her.
“M’kay…” She murmured, smiling happily as she was laid down. Arabella snuggled into the blankets around her once she was tucked in, slowly grabbing his arm and gently pulling down on him. “Lay with me… the bed’s cold without someone else.” She murmured, half asleep. She was delirious and incredibly disoriented. She just wanted more sleep. But she didn’t want to sleep without him.
He chuckled softly. "Arabella, i want to put my pajamas on first, all right?" He replied, gently extricating his arm from her grip, and heading into his closet to change. He came back out after a few minutes, in his pajamas, and got into bed beside her. "There." He said.
She blinked sleepily up at him and buried her face in the blankets. “Mm pajama’s sound nice… I should get out of my dress…” she shook her head gently. “But I don’t wanna move.”
He chuckled. "Well, since I doubt you want me stripping and dressing you, I suppose we are at an impasse. Because if you won't do it yourself, you can't have pajamas." He smiled lightly, and kissed her forehead, not seeming to really realize what he was doing.
Arabella flushed, shaking her head. “No! I-I can dress myself!” She exclaimed, sitting up and hiding her blush from him after the kiss. She bit her lip and risked a glance in his direction. “I-I’m going to get in my pajamas… I’ll Be back…” and with that she stood, blushing profoundly as she hurried into her closet to strip and slide on a nightgown.
He chuckled. "Alright." He lay back down, closing his eyes for a moment with a soft yawn. It felt…nice. To just relax with someone. It had been so long since he had last been able to.
Arabella emerged only a few moments later. She climbed into the bed and shuffled herself under the covers. On instinct she curled against him, smiling happily.
Asher put an arm around her gently, and closed his eyes with a soft, content sigh. Then he yawned again. He was more tired than he had originally thought, that was for sure
She yawned right after him, laughing softly. “Thank you Asher… for everything. I’m glad I have you as a husband and not someone else…”
He chuckled softly. "You're welcome." He smiled lightly. "And I'm glad I have you, not some other woman." He replied, yawning yet again as he started to fall asleep.
She hummed, drifting back off into the blackness of sleep. It was calm and warm against him. She could feel and almost hear his gentle heartbeat. It was exciting.
Asher was quiet, falling asleep slowly. He could feel Arabella right beside him, which he didn't mind.
(sure)
(Alrightyyy)
Arabella woke with a happy and relaxed air, snuggling into the warmth that laid beside her. She had subconsciously thrown her arms around his neck in her sleep and didn’t quite process what was going on yet.
