Phoenix was training as well.
Phoenix was training as well.
He kept training, sighing softly.
Phoenix was training like she wanted to win.
Corian kept training as hard as he could.
Phoenix did as well.
He was silent.
Later everyone was still training.
Corian took a break, getting some water and a snack.
Phoenix eventually took a break.
Corian was leaning against the wall as he drank water.
"This is what most call crazy. As a Career, it's normal. I still don't want to do this, but I have a family legacy to continue; a legacy of being a family of Hunger Games victors, and only Hunger Games victors unless never reaped," Phoenix said.
He looked up, and shrugged. "Yes, as do I. Future president of Panem, and father of the next generation of Snows."
"Hey, when you're president, do you think you could end the Games?" Phoenix asked.
Corian raised an eyebrow. "I don't know." He admitted.
"Why is that?" Phoenix asked.
He shrugged. "Because it depends on a lot of factors." He replied.
"Like what?" Phoenix asked.
"I don't know. Stuff." He shrugged.
"Really?" Phoenix asked.
"Yeah." He sighed. "Political climate, uh, the people, stuff like that."
"That's sad," Phoenix said.
He shrugged again. "I guess."
Phoenix sighed. "Back to training, I guess."
He nodded, putting his water away, and went back to training.
Phoenix went back to training as well.
Corian was quiet.
Phoenix seemed like she might just win from the training.
Corian was thinking about what she said.
Phoenix wondered if he might be able to end the Games. She hoped he would be able to.
He frowned slightly as he thought.
