Lucian nodded slowly, fingers tracing over an invisible pattern on the file cover. “I was searching through old archives and files out of boredom, and I found Ace’s.. It must have been taken by the previous medic before me, I didn’t know the guy.”
"Can we look through it?" Leah asked, brushing a strand of loose hair behind her ear.
"I like owls. My mother always said it was her spirit animal." Kameo took the pendant. "Thanks Joanna." he pressed a kiss to her cheek.
She hugged him. "You're welcome Kameo."
"Yeah." Kameo leaned into the hug, "What's for food?"
"Well, I've got leftover pizza dough from last night. I could whip up a pizza quick."
"Ugh. Pizza." he groaned, "It reminds me of…BlackWing."
"Okay then, not pizza. Why don't you come down to the kitch' and see what ya feel like."
“We can, but we need to give it to Kam at some point. There were a few photos inside, and I think he’d want those,” Lucian said, rolling his shoulders back.
Kameo placed an arm around Joanna, "Promise to never bring up BlackWing, like ever?"
"Absolutely." She promised.
He gave a relieved sigh and the seagull flew away. "NO! MR. BUBBLES!!"
He gave a relieved sigh and the seagull flew away. "NO! MR. BUBBLES!!"
( Oh my lord, this is adorable )
He gave a relieved sigh and the seagull flew away. "NO! MR. BUBBLES!!"
Joanna chuckled. "That darn Mr. Bubbles."
"He left me! Like Ace did!" Kameo burst out sobbing.
'Oh dear.' Joanna tried to think of words to comfort him, but think of any that wouldn't make him feel worse or cry more. She pulled him back into a hug, shushing gently. "It's okay Kam. Let it all out."
"Nothing's okay!" his cries were barely intelligible.
"I know, I know." She whispered, trying to blink tears away from her eyes. Damn, why was she a sympathetic cryer? She hated seeing Kameo so sad.
(Ah, where are Joanna and Kam, I want to give him the file)
(Up on deck. Are you sure this is the best time?)
Kameo blinked away his tears, "Thanks Jo-Jo." he pushed himself away, "I needed a hug."
“We can, but we need to give it to Kam at some point. There were a few photos inside, and I think he’d want those,” Lucian said, rolling his shoulders back.
Leah nodded and looked up at him. "How's Morrigan?" She asked innocently, looking down at the pulley again.
(this is officially the longest rp I've been in, even though I joined late)
She nodded. "No problem." She said, wiping her hand across her eyes. "Do you still want something to eat?"
(WOOT WOOT!!!! 101!!! AND I'M ALMOST DONE DRAWING JO JO!)
"No. I'm not hungry." Kameo wiped away the black eye makeup running down his face.
"Okay, just come find me when ya are. I'll whip something up for you." She said, handing him a handkerchief. "Here, use this."
"Thanks. I have to reapply this now. Stupid tears."
(Yeah, you’re right, I’ll just wait then.)
Lucian’s eyes seemed to narrow in suspicion at the question. “She’s great. Why??
