"oh ok. Thats cool." He hopped down from the counter and wrapped his arms around Nick's waist, watching him cook over his shoulder

A few minutes later and it was done. "All finished!" Nick exclaimed. "Can you get two plates from the cabinet please?"

He nodded and headed over to the cabinets, pulling out a pair of plates along with some silverware. He set the plates on the counter so Nick could fill them with food. He headed over to the table and set the silverware down

Nick transferred the food to the plates and turned off the stove. “Dinner is served,” he set the plates down and sat down at the table. He took a spoon and started eating.

"yay! I'm starving." He sat down across from Nick and started eating. "This is amazing! We need to have you cook more."

"Thank you," he smiled and continued to eat. "I have work tomorrow so, I'll be gone for the day unless you want to come with me and be a waiter."

"aw ok. I'm not that good with people so probably not. Thanks for the offer." He said with a small smile

Nick chuckled, "I was just kidding. Anyway, what will you do tomorrow? Work on your status as a Hero?" he asked, taking another bite.

He shrugged and smiled "maybe. Probably start compiling a list of people to look out for."

“Alright,” Nick said eating the last bite. “Be safe tomorrow okay? I’m going to take a shower,” he said putting his dishes in the sink. Nick walked to the room and into the bathroom then turned on the shower.

"I will." He reasured, getting up as well to start cleaning the dishes with Nick showered

Nick washes his hair and steps out the shower. He started to change and then laid down on the bed.

Once done, Nick headed to the bedroom and flopped down next to Nick, only now realizing how tired he was. "hm, comfy." he curled up in the blankets and Nick's side.

Nick chuckled and kissed Jas's forehead. "I wish you the best sleep tonight my love," he whispered.

"only when with you will I sleep well." He rested his head on Nick's chest, tracing the well know faint scars that peppered the others chest beneth the shirt

“I’m glad you feel safe around me,” he chuckled and started to stroke Jas’s hair.

"Always have, always will." het murmured, a sound resembling a purr coming from his lips as Nick stroked his hair

Nick blushes slightly at the sound and looked away. “You sure do like getting pet.”

He nodded and kissed Nick's collar bone "yep, I do."

He blushed a little more when Jas started to kiss his collar bone. Nick hummed softly.

Jas smiled softly and bit down gently before pulling back and resting his head back on his chest "thanks all you get for tonight."

"You sure have fun teasing people don't you?" Nick chuckled and shook his head.

He nodded "only you my beautiful one." He kissed his chin one last time before snuggling into the crook of his neck "just a little payback."

“For what? What did I do?” He wines pointing to himself. “From this morning? Listen that was your fault because you didn’t wake up. But then again I don’t mind a little back,” he said the last sentence under his breath.

He laughed softly "No specific reason, just because." he muttered sleepily, lightly tracing his chest again

Nick chuckled and closed his eyes, “I love you.”

he nuzzled Nick's chest, finally settling on his shoulder, the only place where bare skin showed through the shirt "I love you more my savior."

“I love you most my heart stealer,” Nick kisses his temple before drifting off to sleep.

He smiled at the nick name and drifted off to sleep

Nick woke up to see Jas still asleep. Nick smiles and tucked Jas’s hair behind his ear.
