Eric searched his brain. "Submission by The Sex Pistols was written out of spite." He said nonchalantly.

"Submission by the what?" Jax asked almost stopping on the sidewalk at that comment. He was so confused.

"Sex Pistols. They're another one of the original punk bands, on the British side." He said, laughing a bit. "Don't worry, I had the same reaction the first time around."

Jax continued walking as he let out a slight chuckle, "Okay… What kind of person names there band Sex Pistols?"

"Okay, so the laugh point for British punk was a shop called SEX." Eric started. "And this group of teenagers hung out there. And Malcolm, the husband of the owner and designer, decided 'hey, I should put together a band with some of these kids!' And he did. And they became the Sex Pistols." Eric said, finishing with a flourish. "I mean, that's heavily simplified, but-"

"No, that's kind of cool," Jax grinned at Eric, "Kind of strange you know that, but hey it's cool. You may have to tell me the full version sometime."

Eric blushed. "I-if you want. I just like knowing that stuff." He mumbled.

Jax had a little blush on from spotting Eric's tinted cheeks, "I mean, it would be nice to know at some point. I'm kind of curious to be honest."

"Wait, really?" He asked, smiling.

"Yeah," Jax nodded, "It sounds interesting."

Eric smiled at him, a bit sheepishly. "Thanks. People usually just find it annoying."

"I don't know why. I mean a band founded out of spite called Sex Pistols? That has a ton of interesting stuff from that sentence alone," Jackson smiled over at him.

"Well, they didn't form out of spite, one of their songs was written out of spite." He clarified. "But damn, is it a wild story."

“I would think so,” Jax laughed a little.

Eric watched him, internal gay panic starting up again.

Jax reached up and messed with his hair to try and disguise his nervousness, “So, um, are we close?”

Eric nodded. "About a block." He said, a bit excited.

Jax smiled and moved his hand back down away from his face, “Great!”

Eric nodded, walking backwards again, even though they were getting close to the crosswalk.

Jax raised his eyebrow and kept a careful eye on their surroundings, “You might want to turn around soon.”

"Why?" He asked teasingly….

And proceeding to trip over the curb and fall backwards into the street.

Jax moved quickly to reach down and help Eric up and off the street before the idiot could get run over, “That’s why.”

Eric looked up at him. "Uh… thanks… sorry about that." He said quietly, cheeks going red. Fuck, we're close…

Jax looked down his cheeks glowing a light red, Fuck, I am so falling for him. He spoke softly when he responded, “No problem, just try not to do it again.”

Eric nodded quietly, chewing his lip. "Sorry…"

"Your fine," Jax responded before forcing himself to,look away before he did something stupid, "Now the music store should be right acroos the street, right?"

Eric nodded, taking a small step back. Really don't wanna move, though…. "Wanna keep going? I won't fall in the street this time."

"Yeah," Jax really didn't want Eric to move, but he would have to so they could keep going, "Maybe try walking forward this time?"

"Fiiiiiiinnnneeeee… I'll be normal for you, angel." He said, smiling.

"Thank you darling," Jax smiled back.
