@Simon-Says
Thorne raised an eyebrow. "I gotta admit, I'm not really a fan of large animals."
Thorne raised an eyebrow. "I gotta admit, I'm not really a fan of large animals."
“Is that so? I feel like I have a memory of you not being so fond of little eight legged ones either.” Scarlet flicked her hair in a way similar to her daughters as she spoke.
Cinder couldn't help but snicker at the comment, but stopped as soon as she felt Kai nudge her with his elbow.
As the topic began to change, Wolf grew more comfortable and looked back up at everyone’s faces again.
(what about the kids lol, i have no idea where they are)
(Me neither, I think Alphas stuck in a tree but IDK. I enjoy embarrassing Carswell Thorne)
He cocked an amused eyebrow at the girl. "Right," Aquila confirmed, making a show of pointedly glancing at Alana. Glares really weren't as commanding when the other eye could literally be facing the opposite direction, or perhaps he was crossing his eyes - he never knew. He hoped he didn't look like an idiot. "But your… friend… didn't seem to agree." The boy shrugged, innocent as ever.
Karina shrugged. " I barely know her as of now. I can only speak for myself in this situation, but if it's going to be so difficult to get around to playing this game, then we can do this later," she offered, hoping to finally stop the hostility from Alana.
(Ugh ok I'm done with the adults after this)
Thorne shrugged. "Spiders, really? Nah, I think you're remembering wrong. It's this one who's scared of spiders. And her daughter," he added, learning himself a light smack on the arm from Cress. "Ah, so she's my daughter now?" She asked, tapping a foot.
It was Kai's turn to chuckle at the couple. "You've done it now, Carswell," he said, lips curving into a light smirk. Speaking of the kids, he looked around the room, not seeing any of them nearby. About to express his concerns, Cinder gave her husband a comforting smile. "They're fine, probably off in another room away from us adults."
“I’ve heard worse,” Alpha laughed, “but probably inside talking with the other adults with a 80 percent chance that he has an arm around Cress.”
Ok, Cassie and Alpha are here
umm, Cinder, you have a teenaged mutant wolf running free, Aly (I want a nickname now so plz go with it) is not to be trusted. Cough cough climbing out a window cough cough almost breaking into an old ship.
(Umm, Cinder's not psychic cough cough only human cough cough with neat powers cough cough)
"Ugh, fine," Alana replied, crossing her arms. She glanced at Karina. "I better get going anyways…" but she didn't move anywhere.
(kids are outside talking in little groups. Vesper, Aquila, and some of the others are talking/arguing)
Cade sat cross legged on the floor so that Salem could put her head on her lap
His patience was running thinner than ice. Aquila refused to say a word, partially out of spite but also because he didn't trust himself to not demand respect from the girl. That was a particularly annoying effect of going undercover - no one knew what he was entitled to. The boy tugged out a portscreen with mild interest, waiting for Alana to act on her words.
"Fine then, have it your way," Alana replied. Calling out to Katrina, she said, "Katrina! Call me over when the boys are finally ready to tell us the name of this game. I best be going now," and walked a bit away to a nearby tree and climbed it, sitting in the highest branch.
Vesper was quiet, sighing softly. He shifted. Well, that was one girl gone. Just Katrina. Though he had a feeling that she would be far more stubborn than Alana had been. He shook his head slightly.
The girl gave Alana an annoyed look. "It's Karina," she said, a bit irritated with the whole ordeal. She tried to calm her mind as there was the possibility that the other didn't have great memory. It was just very odd to her that someone who was technically her cousin didn't know her. Turning back to Vesper and Aquila, she spoke again. "It's funny how all of us were supposedly going to sneak out somewhere and only made it to the back yard," Karina noted in a much calmer tone.
Alpha overheard Karina saying something about only making it to the back yard and yelled, “Not on my watch!” (I need Cassie!)
(isn't Alpha stuck in a tree or…?)
(No, she got out of the tree and talked to people)
"Whatever," Alana replied flippantly and in a carefree tone.
Cassie groaned. "Alpha, we need to make a plan of where we're going to go. And that does NOT involve a ship."
(Yay! Your back!)
“Umm. If we run out of the neighborhood then-“
"I don't care what we do. But we're not going without deciding what we actually want to do. It'd be stupid to just wander around," Cassie sighed softly.
“Umm, I think there’s an ice cream place just North of here. We can walk there!” Alpha looked at the compass on her port and began to walk north.
Cassie blinked, then shrugged. "Why are you using a compass when you could just get directions? Who even uses the phrase 'just north of here?'" She said with a small laugh.
Karina scowled at Alana. She wasn't sure that she liked her much anymore. Overhearing Alpha mention ice cream, her mood seemed to lift. "I guess we're going to get ice cream. You two still coming?" she asked, waiting for their answer before running to catch up to the other two girls.
