She nodded. "It's in the kitchen." She said, turning.

"Alright. I..I'm gonna stay up here for a little longer."

"Okay." She hurried back to the kitchen, fetched the ginger, and locked the door, hurrying back to Ryan. "Here ya go."

He smiled at her, his eyes drained of energy and his usual peppiness. "Thanks." He repeated, taking the ginger. "Do I just…eat it?"

"Yah, just pop it into your mouth. It should take effect after a few minutes."

Ryan nodded, putting the ginger in his mouth. He scrunched up his nose and after a little while he finally swallowed it. "It tastes…different. It's spicy and sweet all at the same time."

"I know. Plants can be sooo strange." Joanna looked up to watch the birds.

"I wouldn't know. Not much grows in Anjou."

She nodded. "So, what do you plan on doing now?"

Ryan sighed. "I'm not sure. I guess I should continue trying to find my brother."

She nodded. "Any idea where you're headin' next?"

He shook his head. "Wherever you guys are going next. Hate to admit it, but I've gotten attached to this crew."

She smiled. "Right back at ya, Ryan."

Ryan's smile grew as he looked back out at the waves.

After Morrigan took her antidepressants for the first time, she got out a roll of parchment and a quill, and made a neat calendar of that month, putting two checkboxes for each day labeled ‘antidepressants taken’ and ‘no harm done’ (as is self harm). She found the current date, and checked both boxes, feeling strangely proud of herself. She then put it up on her bedroom wall.

How do you draw so well realistically? I can only draw in a semi-cartoon/a tad realistic hybrid style lol
