Tasper bounced a bit his seat. Now that all his fellow superheroes were here, he turned and smiled at them. He waved a little at Aikari. "Morning," he whispered, grinning.

"Morning," she replied, "Man, this sucks, I can hardly move right now!" she stretched back, trying to loosen her muscles, but to no avail.

"I'm sore too," he admitted, "and sleepy. But it really happened! We're really, actually…" he trailed off, not wanting to say the word superheroes just in case someone overheard.

"Why don't you go sit with them?" Tikki asked, just as Mademoiselle Bustier began to speak.
"Not now Tikki," Louise said, listening to the teacher.

Aikari nodded, "I know! It's really exciting," she said quietly so no one else would hear.

"It feels strange, you know?" Kaylee leaned in, "I mean how did this all happen?"

Louise itched to know what they were saying, but she didn't want Mademoiselle to think that she wasn't paying attention. "Go on," Tikki whispered, as if she could read Louise's mind.

Louise waited until Mademoiselle was facing the board, then moved to the row behind her colleagues. "Hi," she whispered. Tikki smiled up at her.

"Hi Louise," Tasper greeted with a warm smile. He lowered his voice some. "Are you sore, too?"

"Does not being able to feel any part of my arms below my shoulders count?" She joked, her humorous/sarcastic side beginning to come out. She bit her lip, suddenly afraid that she'd said something wrong.

Tasper laughed at her sarcasm. "I could hardly get out of bed. I couldn't feel my legs. It was amazing."

Louise smiled. Maybe she found a group that she could fit in.
