“Works for me,” Savannah agreed, walking over to it and sitting down. She was glad about her choice of drink, since it was better than she had expected. Of course she didn’t coffee a lot, so even if it was kind of crappy she might not have noticed as long as it had lots of whipped cream and caramel.
Olyvia followed and sat on the other side of the booth, still sipping her own coffee. She noticed the cup starting to get a lot of condesation on it and the ice melting quickly whilst it was in her hand so she set the drink down hastily before the plastic melted.
“So why did you move here, of all places?” Savannah asked. “It’s really not that exciting.”
"Umm work mostly. I also have shitty parents and needed out of their house." Olyvia responded. "If it's not that exciting then why do you stay?"
“I have nowhere else to go,” Savannah replied. “My parents are kind of overbearing, but I don’t know if I’m ready to move away just yet. It’s not awful here, just uneventful for the most part.”

"Ahh makes sense. My parents were a lot of things, most of which i didn't like and got tired of dealing with it." She responded honestly.

“That makes sense,” Savannah agreed. “Sometimes I imagine moving away, but I just don’t think I’m ready.” She gave Olyvia a small smile. “So what do you plan on doing now that you’re here?”
"umm, really just working at the moment. maybe making some friends or whatever. But not many big plans." Olyvia said.
“So, like, you don’t have much going on then? One of my friends is having a party tonight and you can come if you want,” Savannah suggested hopefully.
