"You're such a cutie," he began poking at his sides. "Oh, yes you are. Admit it."
"You're such a cutie," he began poking at his sides. "Oh, yes you are. Admit it."
Cas started giggling again when Sorin tickled him. "No! S-Stop doing that!" He hugged his sides, curling in on himself.
Sorin flipped him over so that he was under him and immediately started poking the areas Cas's hand hadn't covered. "Admit that you're adorable."
Cas's eyes teared up as he tried to get away, still laughing breathlessly. "R-Remember how this ended last time, love…" He coughed a bit, still giggling weakly.
"Oh right," Sorin pressed his lips on his cheek before flopping down right next to him. He shifted a bit closer to him until his nose reached his jawline.
Cas gave a soft sigh of relief and relaxed against Sorin, closing his eyes.
Sorin snaked his hand down his waist and pulled him closer, placing his chin on the top of his head.
Cas purred, seeming content as he yawned. He was exhausted and had been temporarily distracted from the looming threat of Berenice.
Sorin pressed a kiss at the top of his head and was willing to hold him till he fell asleep. Those thoughts he had suppressed slowly resurfaced and turned into worry. Being a highly trained soldier gave her the advantage of handling the demon, though, Berenice's strength surpassed her's in many ways.
Then he thought about the possibility of Kyoko failing. Not only would he lose a friend, he would have to deal with her himself in order to protect Cas. Just the thought of holding a blade alone was enough to make him ill.
Cas was unaware of Sorin's worries as he drifted off, still shivering a bit from the water. His hair was quite wet, though it had dried some.
He closed his eyes, praying for his thoughts and worries to go away. Eventually they did, as he let his mind wander elsewhere and his exhaustion ebb his at his consciousness.
The next morning, Cas wasn't in bed when Sorin woke up. It wasn't clear where he was, but he for sure wasn't with Sorin.
(He's just down in the kitchen lol don't worry)
(I legit thought the dude got snatched lol)
Sorin groaned and shifted, wanting to wake up but his body protesting. It was when he stretched his arms and didn't feel the familiar presence next to him did he shot up. He threw the blankets aside, running down the stairs as he scanned his surroundings.
(He's alright XD)
Cas looked over when Sorin ran down. He looked very tired with dark circles under his eyes, disheveled hair, and a generally pale complexion. Although he was pretty cute when he was sleepy, he just looked drained and anxious and his reaction time wasn't very good. "Hey…"
He ran his fingers through his hair and let out a sigh of relief. "What are you doing up so early?"
"I had a nightmare at like… midnight or something, and I couldn't get back to sleep…" He mumbled, rubbing his tired eyes. "I didn't wanna bother you."
Sorin walked over to him and glanced at the clock. "And so you sat here for hours?" He sighed and gestured him to come closer. "Come here."
Cas slowly got up and stumbled over to Sorin. Not sleeping all night would be hard for anyone, but his cat instincts made it even harder, since he was prone to sleeping long and frequently if he could.
Sorin pulled him into a hug. "Look, if anything's bothering you, don't be afraid to come to me or in this case, wake me up. I'll do anything I can to help you."
"Mm…" Cas nuzzled against Sorin's chest. "But you need sleep toooo…"
"I'll be fine," he looked down and smiled.
Cas whined, hugging Sorin tighter as his knees grew weak from exhaustion.
Sorin picked him up and walked up the stairs. He set him down gently on his bed before climbing on next to him and covered them both with the blanket .
Cas stayed close to Sorin, whining whenever he moved. After about fifteen minutes of being unsettled, he finally started to settle down again.
Sorin yawned and quickly fell asleep after he made sure everything with Cas was alright.
Cas slept for a few hours, and he was still there when Sorin woke up again. He yawned, not wanting to move.
Sorin stood upright, rubbing at his eyes. He took a quick shower in hopes to wake up his tired body and went downstairs to cook breakfast– simple blueberry pancakes was enough. He set the plates down on the table and tilted his head slightly as he narrowed his eyes on the mailbox outside. His flag was up so he went outside to retrieve whatever mail was sent to him.
Cas showered as well when Sorin was done and followed him downstairs, drying his hair with a towel.
Sorin tossed out a few letters he didn't think he needed and pulling out a chair for Cas upon seeing him. He sat across from him, still tossing out letters to the side but stopped when he came across a few.
"What're those?" Cas asked, picking up a pancake and taking a bite.
