"Same way you came here," Kyoko went over and grabbed the large book from his bag. "Via portal." She opened the book and set it down on the ground. "Oh and i'm keeping this thing from now on, thanks."
"Same way you came here," Kyoko went over and grabbed the large book from his bag. "Via portal." She opened the book and set it down on the ground. "Oh and i'm keeping this thing from now on, thanks."
Cas clung tightly to Sorin's hand, his heart pounding as he continued shivering.
Sorin gave him a reassuring kiss on the back of his hand and watched in horror as Kyoko bit into the palm of her hand. She slapped it onto the book which resulted in her blood splattering all over the page as she began chanting softly, her pointed ears standing upright.
Cas covered his mouth with his free hand and shuddered when Kyoko bit herself. He flinched as the portal grew into existence.
Kyoko stood up, looking proud of herself and wiped her bloodied hand on her jeans. Amelia sighed and grabbed a handkerchief from the back of her pocket, wrapping Kyoko's palm with it.
She walked over to the two, hugging Sorin first but fixed her gaze on Cas. "I really hope i'm wrong about you."
"I'm not a bad guy, I swear…" Cas said adamantly, making eye contact with Kyoko before the portal dragged him and Sorin in.
Sorin held Cas tight, not really caring too much about the bags he was holding as they went through. Luckily, they didn't land on the hard ground like they did when they first arrived at Kyoko's, but landed on his bed.
Cas curled up in a ball once they landed, hugging his knees. It was a bit warmer here, but it didn't feel like it.
Sorin set the bags aside and tended to Cas, suppressing any thoughts about Berenice and Kyoko. He lied down, positioned Cas in order to rest on top of his chest and grabbed the blanket to cover them both.
Cas whimpered quietly as he hugged Sorin, burying his face in his chest. He seemed to be a bit scared as well as cold now.
"Hey, Cas, you alright? Is there anything I can get you?"
"I-I don't need anything…" He whispered, his voice slightly muffled.
"Are you sure? Because it doesn't seem like it," he wrapped his arms around him.
"I'm just… scared. Berenice knows where this place is. We're not safe here." Cas replied quietly, burying his face in Sorin's chest.
"Kyoko will take care of it… trust me, she knows what she's doing," he let out a heavy sigh and rubbed Cas's back as reassurance. "And if, and that is if she comes here, I'll take care of it." No matter how much he didn't want to.
"I'll beat her stupid demon bitch ass…" Cas muttered bitterly. "She's got no right to do this."
"You're right, she doesn't." He kissed the top of his head. "But she's always been like this– Demon her, not human."
Cas muttered angrily to himself again, huffing. "Stupid fuckin' bitch…"
Sorin chuckled softly. "Bold. I like that. But I wouldn't let you near her… for your safety, of course."
"Imma slap that bitch." Cas decided, disregarding Sorin's previous statement.
"Right, and when she swallows you whole, what then?" He said with a smile still plastered on his face.
"I'll slap her fuckin' insides if that's what it takes. Never said where I'd slap her. I'm not picky." Cas huddled against Sorin, seeming to relax more as he ranted and blew off his steam.
He erupted in laughter, his face turning a light shade of pink.
Cas started giggling a bit as well, trying to hide it by covering his mouth with one hand.
"You are so fucking adorable," he said, blinking back a few tears that had welled in his eyes.
Cas blushed a bit and looked away, still trying to stop himself from laughing. "N-Nooo…" He whined playfully.
"Uh, yes. You are."
"I'm not adorable… I'm hot. Cause I'm a man." Cas tried to be intimidating, but ended up just meowing loudly, quickly covering his mouth with one hand.
Sorin covered his mouth to try to stifle his laughter. "Awww."
Cas blushed more, frustrated. "S-Shut up…" He muttered, huffing again indignantly as he turned his ears back.
