Rhea had picked out a bunch of dresses and skirts (and tops!) so that she could still hide her tail. She carried all of the items in her arms and then dumped them in the cart. Taking Elias' hand again, she exclaimed, "Let's go!"

"oh, okay!"
He says with a little laugh, almost sounding like a nervous one, which he was trying to hide.
He had enough money, but he wasnt going to have much more until his next pay check.
"Do we wanna self check out? Or have someone else check it out for us. This is quite a bit of stuff"

(Sorry for the late reply! I've been really busy lately-)

"We can do it ourselves! We don't need anybody helping us!" She grinned again and let him lead the way to the self checkout

(No! It's totally fine! Take all of the time you need!!)

Laughing a bit at her actions, her adorable huge smile that he already loved and her words as if she didn't know anything about humanity and she was just learning about them all together……..oh wait….she was.
"Here we are! Here let me show you how to do it"
He says as they stop at a big grey and black box that had a screen, and bags on the side with little holes and slots in it. Proceeding doing so, he showed her that every item has a tag or marking that the scan, then once you scan it all, it tells you how much you owe.
"Now you try"
He says handing her a box of macaroni with a smile, curious as to how she will react to it.

Rhea hesitantly took the book, a curious yet excited look on her face. This world is so unique! She grinned and scanned the macaroni.
She flinched slightly when the machine beeped, but she quickly shook it off and put the macaroni in the bag. "Like- like that?" It was quite amusing to her the more she thought about it. Taking another box and scanning it, she giggled. "The machine is cute! It beeps every time I show an item to it!" She threw the box in the plastic bags, and continued to do the self checkout at an alarmingly fast pace

Stepping back and watching her with a little smirk as he watched her scan all of the items and clothes, he couldn't even scan them that fast. How in the world was she doing that. Although he did admit….he was pretty slow at scanning his items. He always goes to the ones where an actual person does it for him.

She finally finished and looked at the cart, disappointment flashing over her face for a second when she realized she had scanned everything. "What now?"

"Well, you see everything you've bagged? We take the bags and put them in the cart. Then we put them in the car and drive home, or wherever we want to go next"
He says with a shrug as he takes a bag or two and sets it in the cart.

She helped him put the bags away, but tried to be gentle about it. I hope these things aren't fragile.
She took the cart with her own hands and pushed it back to where they parked, hoping that was allowed. It would've been a pain carrying all that back to the car. "Let's go back home," she smiled at him and started to put the bags in the car

"Oh okay!"
He says with a smile as he helped her with all of the bags. Only about three bags were filled with food, the others were stuffed with clothes.
Once they were done he motioned for her to move as he shut the trunk, hopping into the car and starting it.

She hopped into the car as well, slightly giddy when she felt the air conditioner on her face again. She leaned down to the a/c and closed her eyes like before

Giving her a side glance with a half smile, his hair blowing out of his face as the cold ac blew at him.
"Here"
He says as she parks his car at the apartments, looking up to his window from here, which was on the very top floor, out of four stories.

She easily took most of the bags in her arms, only leaving a few for him to carry, and took them all up in one quick trip. "Done!" She grinned at him and flicked her tail, which she decided was now safe to show.

Laughing as he turned to look up at her with the few bags she had left for him to carry himself, which he would have offered to help.
"Okay, lemme get up there"
He says making his way up the stairs. Once up there he went inside, setting the bags of food on the counter and turning to her.
"Well…… We need to discuss how you're gonna be living with me."

Rhea mimicked Elias and set the bags on the counter as well, trying to do it exactly like how he did it.
She scratched her head, unsure of what exactly he meant. "Well, what do you mean?"

"Well….where you would keep your clothes, where you would sleep, things like that."
He says taking the boxes and cans out, setting them in the cabinets and other things such as milk and ketchup and such in the fridge.

"Wouldn't I sleep with you?" She asked, oh-so innocently. It was normal in her world for everyone to sleep in one spot together. She began to take the clothes out of the bags.

"Umm"
He says turning around suddenly and looking at her, then at the ground.
"Well um people don't….do…that. Unless they're in a romantic relationship"
He says rubbing his hand over his face as he quickly turned back around, grabbing a box.

Her eyebrows furrowed, a barely visible blush appearing on her face "Odd… Where do I sleep then?"

"I mean…..you can, just……it would be…..just different. That's all."
He says feeling a little bad. She was so innocent and naive, he didn't want to ruin it for her. And anyway, he would never do anything in a million years or more. So he didn't really see the problem.

An adorable, innocent smile appeared on her face once more. "Alright!" She agreed with him and finished taking the clothes out of the bags. "What about the clothes?"

This is too much!!!! She's like one of those cute girls from a stupid little anime!!! No! She's real! Not a drawing or anything….. Okay, suck it up Elias
He got lost in thought, but quickly snapped back.
"Oh, i have a rather big closet you can use. I also have a dresser, so whichever one you would prefer, you can have."

"A dresser seems like the better choice… I don't want to take up too much space." She grabbed all the clothes at once and asked, "Where is it?"

"um, its in my room actually. Here i can move that….somewhere"
He says looking at the ceiling biting his lip trying to think of where he could move it.

She shook her head. "It's fine! We'll be sleeping in the same room, won't we? Why move it?"

"oh…yeah okay"
He says putting away the last box, then turning around to face her.
"well ill move my clothes real quick to the closet"
He says walking over to his room.

Rhea followed him, letting her tail drag behind her. It fortunately didn't make a lot of noise. "So, this is your place of rest?" She looked around his room.

"um…..yeah i guess you could call it that"
He says turning around, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

She sat down on the bed and placed her clothes beside her. "Comfy!" Her face lit up as she threw herself backwards on the mattress.
