Abby smiled. ”I trust you. As long as Adar doesn't try to pick me up, I think I'll be ok.” she winked.
Abby smiled. ”I trust you. As long as Adar doesn't try to pick me up, I think I'll be ok.” she winked.
Nyt stuck her long tounge out at Abby. "He won't. Only I can do that." She said with a sly smile. "I'm going to go contact him." She said as she walked off into another room.
Abby giggled, blushing a bit. ”I’m fine with that.” She needed to calm down. Would Adar come over right away? Probably not. Nyt said that he was a friend, and she would protect her if she needed it.
Nyt walk back into the room after a few minutes. "He's going to stop by tomorrow afternoon." She said. "Is that alright with you?"
She nodded. ”That sounds good to me. Give us a chance to calm down from all the excitement today. What did you tell him?” Abby was curious. ”What’s he like?”
"I just told him that I found something he needs to see." Nyt said as she sat back down next to Nyt. "Well, he's pretty shy and nice. I've never seen him mad and he's been my friend for…8 years now? Geez time flie's here."
”He sounds like a nice guy.” Abby smiled. ”Is there a usual way Slyvans greet each other?” She wanted to make a good first impression instead of the chaotic way Nyt met her friends.
"Usually just a hand shake but that's only when you've gotten to know them." Nyt explained. "I know I might not be the best example of this but Slyvans don't like physical contact much."
Abby laughed a bit. ”I’ll take your word for it considering how cuddly you get.” she had a light smirk as she half expected Nyt to pick her up again.
Nyt chuckled. "That's why I dont have many friends. I get too touchy for most people." She explained, with a smile on her face.
”Funny. Around other humans, I’m not usually a very touchable person. But with you, I don't mind.” Abby returned the smile.
Nyt laughed. "Yeah but I think that's only because I refused to stop touching you." She pointed out.
Abby laughed happily. ”Yeah, probably. That and you don't make fun of me.” she continued to smile.
"Well only a little." Nyt said as she poked her cheek.
She giggled at the gesture. ”No, you just tease me. As a friend.” Abby explained. ”There’s another kind of teasing that can get pretty mean.”
"People made fun of you?" Nyt asked, almost growling. Nyt could be very protective.
Abby was a bit surprised by Nyt growling. ”No. At least not anymore. When I was a kid, yeah, but it's not that big of a deal. It was mostly about my height and hair color anyways.”
"That's good." Nyt said pulling Abby close. "So are you sure your alright with meeting Adar tomorrow?"
Abby nodded as Nyt held her. ”Yeah. I’m sure.” she confirmed.
"Alright then," Nyt said, cufiling into her. "Another small step for peace?"
Abby smiled, nuzzling Nyt back. ”One small step.” she agreed, trying not to complete the famous quote.
Nyt chuckled. "Do you want lunch?" She asked, standing up.
(Sure!)
Abby nodded, standing to follow her.
Nyt sat on the couch, her tail flicking nervously. Though she was pretty sure it would turn out well she wasby sure how he would react at first.
Abby was in the other room at the moment, running her fingers through her hair, trying to tame it a bit. She didn't want to drop the bomb on the guy as soon as he walked in. Hopefully Nyt will give me a signal.
The door bell rang. Nyt got up and answered it.
Adar tapped his foot at the door. Nyt had messaged him yesterday saying that she found a really cool human thing. I wonder what it could be. Nyt then opened the door. "Hey Nyt!" He said awaiting the enevtable bear hug.
Abby took a deep breath when she heard Adar was here. It’s ok. He's a friend. she bit back a chuckle. Buddy, are you in for a surprise.
Nyt smiled and gave him the bear hug he had been expecting. "Ready to see something that will blow your mind?" She asked with a sly smile.
Adar chuckled. "You say that every time." He said. His hair swirled up like Nyt's but not as long and he had icy blue eyes. He walked in after Nyt.
Abby smiled, stepping into view. ”Only thing is I think she means it this time. It's nice to meet you, Adar.”
Adar froze. He stared at Abby for a bit. "Y-You're h-" He was cut off by Nyt.
"Yes. She's human. Adar, this is Abby." Nyt said walking over to her and wrapping a tail around her waist. A sign of trust and affection.
