"Oh," Oh. Sorin bent down to kiss his cheek and rested his head on the pillow. "Rest and you'll feel better tomorrow." He stood up and grabbed a few clothes for both him and Cas.
"Oh," Oh. Sorin bent down to kiss his cheek and rested his head on the pillow. "Rest and you'll feel better tomorrow." He stood up and grabbed a few clothes for both him and Cas.
Cas nodded and pulled on his clothes. He put his hood up so the marks on his neck weren't visible, curling up loosely on the bed. He could hear Kyoko entering the house.
Sorin frantically put on his clothes as he heard Kyoko running up the stairs and quickly climbed on the bed next to Cas.
The door flung open. There, Kyoko was holding the sleeping child in her arms when she walked in and examined the two with a suspicious look on her face.
Cas had already fallen asleep again by now and only huddled more into the blankets when Kyoko entered. He sighed softly from exhaustion, looking innocent enough.
"Why are there towels on the bed?" She asked. Sorin opened his mouth to make an excuse– "Get them off. You're gonna get it wet." Sorin nodded and watched her leave.
Cas yawned, opening his eyes a bit. "Is she gone…?" He whispered, staying very still.
Sorin nodded and moved the wet strand of hair from the front of his face.
"Cool…" Cas turned around and lay up against Sorin, purring as he let the other spoon him.
He held his hand and nuzzled his neck. "How do you feel?"
"Drained…" Cas entwined his fingers with Sorin's, closing his eyes again.
"Rest, love," he said and closed his eyes.
Cas nodded and soon drifted off to sleep again. His hair gradually dried, fluffed up, and fell over his closed eyes.
His consciousness began to ebb away but he shot up when he heard the door slam open.
"I knew I was missing something," she walked over to the pile of clothes on the ground and picked them up. "Weren't you guys wearing these before I left?"
Cas winced at the loud noise and covered his ears, having been woken up again. "I'm tryna sleep…" He whined, keeping his eyes closed.
Kyoko frowned and blinked at him before she pulled the hoodie down. She dropped the clothing pieces on the ground.
Cas tugged up the collar(?) again, trying to hide the hickeys. He huffed, too tired to react strongly to anything just yet.
"Is that–"
"No." Sorin hugged Cas tighter.
"Wake. The. Fuck. Up." Kyoko said between clenched teeth. "Wake up."
Cas flinched at her tone, trembling. He closed his eyes tighter and stayed close to Sorin.
"Kyoko–"
"Separate rooms. Now."
"N-No… please…" Cas whispered shakily, feeling tears sting his eyes.
"For what? It's not gonna change the fact that we already–"
"Now."
"You're not my mother! Or his!" The tears rolled down Cas's cheeks. "Y-You can't force either of us to do anything!" He started shaking more violently, gripping Sorin's hand.
She crossed her arms and shook her head. "Unbelievable…"
Cas coughed, his breathing quicker and shallower than it should've been. He tightened his arms over his stomach, coughing harder.
Sorin turned him around. "Cas?"
"I… I c-can't breathe…" Cas choked on his words, sobbing. "D-Don't… please… don't s… s-separate us…"
Kyoko rolled her eyes and shook her head. "I honestly don't care at this point." She walked away, slamming the door behind her.
Sorin wiped his tears away and pulled him on top of him. "Hey, it's okay," he held him tight and let his head rest on his shoulder.
Cas sobbed into Sorin's shoulder, holding tightly to him. "I… I-I won't go… I'm s-staying here with you…" He coughed again, shaking violently.
"Cas…it's okay. I won't let her."
Cas eventually lay his head on Sorin's chest to listen to his heartbeat, figuring that would be pretty much the only way other than passing out to calm down right now. He gripped Sorin's shirt tightly, still shaking hard enough to shake Sorin as well.
