He put his shoes on, and followed her after a moment.
He put his shoes on, and followed her after a moment.
"Have you ever been to an aquarium before?" She asked, locking the door behind them.
He hesitated, then shrugged. "I don't know." he replied. "Maybe." Depends on your definition of "aquarium". he thought wryly.
"Right, you have amnesia." She shook her head, completely forgetting that. "Do you remember how you even got amnesia?"
He shook his head. "Nope." Amnesia is a good cover story. Let's keep it.
She shrugged. "Maybe I can help you get it back?" She asked hesitantly and looked at him. "Just an idea…"
He shook his head. "No, it's alright." He said.
Astra raised an eyebrow. "I mean… I guess it's your call." She shrugged and linked arms with him again.
He pulled his arm out of hers quickly.
"What are you doing?" She put her arm through his again and continued walking.
He pulled his arm out again. "Stop it!" He complained.
"Why?" Astra pouted, and with a whiny voice she asked, "Jeez, aren't you supposed to be acting recklessly?"
He chuckled. "I am. I'm defying you." He said, smiling slightly.
Oh. Crap, that makes sense. She raised an eyebrow, slightly ticked at him. "You-" she cut herself off, unable to find something to argue with him about. He is indeed following the agreement. "Damn it."
He laughed. "See?" He said.
"You shut it, mister!" She snapped and started to walk faster.
He kept pace with her easily. "Why?" He responded.
"Because I said so!" Astra tried to walk faster, but failed. She was never really one for speed, anyway.
He kept walking beside her. "That's an illogical argument." He pointed out.
"Oh, really? How is that, Winter?" She scoffed and crossed her arms.
"It just is." He replied.
"THAT-" She turned around, frustration written all over her face. That's the equivalent of what I said earlier! Astra groaned and started to walk towards their destination again. "Whatever. Don't be nice and link arms with me. I didn't want to, anyway."
He laughed. "Oh? You didn't?"
She rolled her eyes. "No! You're mean! And I only did it to be helpful."
He grinned. "Okay." He said simply. It's more fun irritating her than it was the Roman Emperors!
She slowed down and started to walk alongside him. Once more, she tried to link arms with him.
He pulled his arm away from her, yet again.
She sighed. "Whatever. We're here anyway." The aquarium was lovely on both the inside and outside, but it was quite packed.
Winter nodded. "It's very…crowded." he said slowly.
"Yep." She said, quite unfazed by the crowd. Astra started to walk into the crows head on, not caring at all.
