”We probably should.” Meredith looked at her phone, groaning slightly. ”I got math next. You?”
Maybe we could meet back up for lunch later.
”We probably should.” Meredith looked at her phone, groaning slightly. ”I got math next. You?”
Maybe we could meet back up for lunch later.
"I have… design… I think." Paisley said with a groan as she stood up. She brushed the dirt off her clothes and held out her hands to help Meredith up. Sounds like a plan!
Awesome. Meredith smiled, accepting the help up, despite being whole 4 or 5 inches taller. ”What, like fashion design?” Or graphic design… But I'm having a hard time picturing that one.
Paisley smiled as she helped Meredith up. "Yeah, no graphic design for me… from what I've heard, it's kinda a rough class…" And I don't have the skills, but we don't talk about that She started walking, slowly so Meredith could walk with her though.
Meredith chuckled, walking alongside Paisley. ”Yeah, me neither. My skills are more sporty. I think Graphic Design has a lot of math, and if you don't have amazing computer skills then you can just forget about it.”
"Well, not to brag or any thing, but I can copy and paste… with the control button and two other keys. Impressive, right?" Said Paisley in a sarcastic tone. If you couldn't tell, I'm trash at computer stuff… She giggled a little while looking at Meredith.
Meredith chuckled along with her, answering in the same tone. ”Oh yes, very impressive.” She winked. I'm not the greatest at that stuff either. ”So, what do you actually do?” She asked, genuinely.
Paisley winked back from habit. "You mean my class, right?" She just went right on to continue before Meredith could answer. "I am doing fashion design, but I'm not sure I completely love it."
Meredith hummed in response. I know the feeling. ”So, what do you want to do then?”
Paisley took a deep sigh. "I really don't know…" She looked down at the ground as they walked. "I thought I had an idea last year, but now I just don't know."
”To be honest, same here. I mean, I love sports but I can't see myself doing it for a career.” Meredith admitted. Besides I don't have a sports scholarship, anyway.
Paisley nodded. Well, we can figure it out together… I mean we kind of have to, but… yeah. They had finally gotten back into town. Okay, so where is your class?
That sounds nice. Meredith smiled. Uh, room 247. Where is yours?
Paisley smiled. Okay… um, mine is 250, so we can walk there together! She looked at the street light and pulled Meredith quickly so they would make it across.
Meredith smiled. Awesome! More time to ”talk”. she winked at the little joke.
Once again, Paisley winked back, subconsciously. Sounds good to mee~ She looked at Meredith and linked their arms as they approached campus.
Meredith chuckled, letting Paisley link arms. Not blushing. Definitely not blushing. … Oh, shush.
Paisley giggled at Meredith's reaction. Ad– nope nope nope… uh I hope I'm not late… not again.
Meredith gave a teasing smirk. I heard that… I don't think we're late though. … Not yet at least. … You know all the times I ran that track, I know exactly how long it takes to run it but I’ve never actually just walked it.
Paisley looked down a little. I never run… I'm always walking, sometimes I feel like crawling or rolling… She looked up again to see that they were in the building. So, let's take the elevator… I'm too tired to take the stairs.
Meredith raised a brow mischievously, walking towards the elevator. Two naps in one day and you're still tired? You're either aren't much of a morning person or you stayed up way too late last night.
Or both… but I just don't like going up stairs in general… The elevator arrived and they stepped in, Paisley pressing the 3rd-floor button.
Your choice. I personally don't have a preference between the two. Meredith shrugged. I'm also not much of a night owl either. I mean, there have been times when I stayed up past midnight when it's not New Year's, not many but… I'm still pretty exhausted the next day.
Yeah… well it's a good thing you can't hear my thoughts while you sleep since I usually stay up pretty late… They passed a couple classrooms, arriving at room 247. Well… goodbye, for now, see ya in a bit.
Meredith smiled. See you later. …I wonder if being apart from each other does anything to our ”connection”.
Paisley smiled back and started walking to her class. I wonder… well we're about to find out. She opened the door of the classroom and went inside, surprisingly not late. She sat down close to the back. Hellooo
Still hear ya. Meredith quickly headed to her class. Good thing I'm a fast runner. She just made it into the room before the bell sounded and headed to an empty chair in the back row. You still there?
Paisley tried her hardest to keep her mind blank, but Treasure by Bruno Mars started playing in her head. Treasure… that is what you are– Jeez~ That was hard– honey you're my– I'm so so sorry… The song was still playing in her head and she, of course, couldn't stop it.
Meredith rolled her eyes. Wooow~… Really? Are you doing this on purpose cause of what you said in the library?
Paisley shook her head to herself. No no, I actually forgot about that, but now I do remember… whyyy am I like thiss
