"A spindle tree." Locke informed him. "And for your quistion of what we do now, maybe we should try to find someone who could help us."
"A spindle tree." Locke informed him. "And for your quistion of what we do now, maybe we should try to find someone who could help us."
“I don’t see anyone though,” Alexander muttered. “Who helps Alice in the book? Isn’t there a Duchess? Maybe we should try to find her. Or the Dodo Bird.”
Maddie almost cackled. ”I thought you were supposed to be the genius, Blue. Everyone here is most likely as mad as a…” Her eyes darted up to the hat on her head, ”Well, I guess I am. Luckily I still have my backpack, so we're not completely unprepared.”
“What’s in there? Tea?” asked Alexander, only half-serious. He had no clue what someone as crazy as Maddie would think to bring in a backpack for a trip to another world.
”Yep.” Maddie said popping the ”p” in her answer. ”As well as some snacks, water and a first aid kit.”
“Well, that’s more than I brought,” Alexander admitted, stating the obvious. He adjusted his glasses. “So, Duchess or Dodo? Or neither?”
Anna looked around. "No clue. Maybe… let's go that way." She said suddenly, walking purposely.
Alexander followed with a shrug. She hadn’t led them wrong before. “Do not tell me we’re going into those woods,” he added, glancing in their direction.
"We're going into those woods." Anna said, nodding. "But hey, I doubt it'll be so bad."
"There is the red queen, the dutch, the cards, the dodo bird, dormmouse, and Tweedldee and Tweedldum are some of the main characters in the book she meets other than ones we are." Locke rattled off.
"So we'll probably meet at least one of the!" She said, smiling.
”And the March Hare!” Maddie supplied. ”Maybe it’s just my ”role” but I can't wait to meet them and the doormouse. But if whoever we meet is like the story, we should stay away from the Queen and her cards.”
"Oh, they gave six year old me nightmares." She said, shaking her head.
“Wait a minute, wasn’t the White Rabbit the trumpeter for the Queen of Hearts?” Alexander asked, looking at the forest with apprehension.
"Yes he is." Locke confirmed. "And I do think it would be natural to want to meet creatures that you are associated with. Like with Maddie with the March Hare and Dorm mouse or Alexander with the Red Queen."
“I don’t want to meet her! She’ll cut off my head!” Alexander cried. “What about you, Alice, and Chesire Cat guy? I never caught either of your names, by the way. None of you are particularly associated with another character, at least as far I as remember.”
"I'm Anna." She said, still walking. "And you have a point."
"Our 'Alice' would technically be associated with all characters and the Cheshire cat and myself areally not associated with anyone other than Alice." Locke explained. "And I don't think the queen would be head you. You are one of a kind unlike her cards."
“I don’t know…” Alexander muttered. “But I kind of want to go to her palace, in a masochistic sort of way I guess?”
Maddie nodded, ”I think you might be the safest one out of all of us if we do have to go there. Not that I want to. I'm rather attached to my head where it is, thank you very much.” She glanced at Locke. ”You might be pretty safe too, since ”you” never met her.”
“Yeah, if we run into her, it’s Anna and Maddie we need to worry about the most,” he agreed.
"Yeah, didn't she put Alice on trial?" She asked, looking back.
”And the cat! Queen tried to behead him in the book too. Couldn't do it though since he only showed his head.” Maddie rambled.
"As well as our Cheshire. He did bother the queen quite a bit." Locke explained.
(We may need to want for Kai.)
(yeah good idea)
Kai had been looking around with a strange look on his face. "What… What the fuck?"
"Language." Locke said in a monotone voice. "I'd either suggest we either find the March hare or the Red queen. They have the strongest connections with most of us." He explained.
”I vote Marchie!” Maddie said, raising her hand in the air.
"English. I also vote March Hare though, I'm not getting my head chopped off today." Kai muttered darkly.
“For our collective safety, I also vote March Hare,” Alexander agreed. Though he figured it wouldn’t do any favors for his sanity.
