Maddie’s broad grin reappeared, ”I’m ready. Be careful though: the fall could hurt.” She giggled taking a cautious hop towards the group. She wasn't really sure if the ”rabbit hole” was just going to open under them or if they had to go somewhere to start their adventure.

"If it's like the dreams, my legs won't bother me." Kai muttered, looking around warily.

(not unless you want them to; i wasn’t planning on changing anything about Alexander but y’all want to change their appearances or whatever i’m down)

(I just wanted to change Locke into some cooler clothes.)

"Well, we are all together. We should wait a bit to see if anything happens." Locke suggested.

Anna took Maddie's hand. "Ya know, my parent's used to tell me to get my mind out of the rabbit hole when I was a kid. Ironic, isn't it? Now I'm helping to open it."

Alexander took her other hand, the feeling getting stronger. His head began to pound. “I think this it, you guys,” he said as reality started to fade, bit by bit.

Anna did her very best not to scream as she felt herself falling. She really did. But the ground disappearing from underneath you and falling into an abyss, even when you're sort of expecting it, is pretty terrifying.

Alexander squeezed his eyes shut, doing his best not to throw up. He felt like he was falling and he did not want to see it. Suddenly the falling slowed, and then came to a stop. After a moment, Alexander dared to open his eyes.

Spread before the kids was a land so vibrant it was hard to look at at first. The trees, grass, and bushes were the richest shade of green and the sky was a beautiful clear azure color. A dusty path wound its way into a forest with trees that weren’t only green but also lovely shades of purple, pink, red, and blue. Rockinghorseflies and bread-and-butterflies, like the ones in the Disney movie, flew around their heads and the most beautiful birdsong Alexander had ever heard sounded in the distance. The sun was a yellow orb far above, shining bright (though not blindingly so).

Alexander felt a gentle breeze as it tickled his ankles and blew his hair softly, like a wave hello. The air felt clearer and fresher than it had ever felt on Earth, and the ground was firm beneath his feet. The breeze tasted sweet, like the purest candy.

He looked to his companions to see that they were all more vibrant and alive than before, looking a bit ethereal, almost, for several moments before the splendor around him became easier to handle. Even then, it was just more than he had ever experienced. Alexander wondered if he could ever get used to it.

As he looked at his feet, studying the grass, Alexander noticed his normal, somewhat dirty sneakers were gone. They had been replaced by exquisite leather boots that were as brown as the dirt there. He raised an eyebrow, wondering how that had happened and what the rest of his outfit had become (since it was clear now that his t-shirt and jeans were long gone). He studied the rest of his clothes, finding that he now wore a white waistcoat over a white shirt and under an old-fashioned white jacket with pants a few shades lighter than his boots. A pocket watch hung from his jacket.

( @Shadow_Knight!!!!! i hope you don’t mind that i like totally copied your idea, i just like it so much!)

(It's fine!)

Locke closed his eyes calmly as he began to fall. It didn't bother him much suprisingly. He opened his eyes again when he felt the ground.
Locke looked around at his surroundings studying them. Names of different things starting flying into his head as he looked at him. He realized that his companions were also wearing different clothing. He looked down at himself seeing new clothes as well.
Locke was wearing black suit pants and top with a blue tie. A long blue suit coat also adorned him as well as a black top hat with a blue ribbon around it. His shoes were black boots that fit with his outfit.
"This is amazing." Locke said looking around, a gentle smile on his face. "Though the names of everything are quite ridiculous."

Anna's eyes had been screwed shut. She let out a small 'oof' when she hit the ground, opening her eyes.

Anna looked around, jaw slack, eyes wide. "Holy shit." She whispered, stopping to blink. She gently approached a bread and butterfly that had landed on a plant before it flew around. The she noticed the change in everyone's clothes. She looked down at herself, brushing the red locks that had escaped it's ponytail from her face.

It was a light blue dress with a white apron, similar to the typical Alice get up, with lace up black boots replacing the flats, and cream tights over her legs. "When…?" She asked, looking up, adjusting the black headband over over the top of her head, "How-?"

Maddie’s mismatched eyes were wide as tea saucers as she looked around the vibrant new world. ”This is so pretty!!!”
It took her a moment to realize her outfit had also changed. She was now wearing a slightly more feminine version of the Mad Hatter’s colorful suit from the animated Disney movie. She even had the same hat, though the card was replaced by her notebook. ”Not bad.”

“What now?” Alexander asked, studying the others’ new outfits. “Nice clothes, by the way, everyone. Also, Locke, what about the names of stuff?” He was a bit confused by Locke’s earlier statement and also about where to start. Was there some sort of guide or were they supposed to just walk? Would Anna lead them where they needed to go? And where would that be? They couldn’t just slay the Jabberwocky right off the bat, not this unprepared.

@MusicElle-is-here

“Whoa, that’s awesome,” Alexander breathed. “What’s that called?” he asked, pointing to a random tree with furry-looking pink leaves and a winding trunk.
