Marco let out a cold laugh, his feet carrying him faster with the more blood that they shed. All the way through the palace until they got to the meeting room, where the people who ran the country met up. Guards were blocking the entryway, “Halt, in the name of the law-“ Blood splattered from one of them as Marco flung a knife through his throat.
“Ouch, that’s gotta hurt” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) giggled a little. He called upon a blue butterfly and cursed it. The blue butterfly phased through the door and andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) closed his eyes.
“Seven guards; two by the door, four by each corner and one behind the man we’re wanting” he then opened his eyes as the butterfly came back out and disintegrated.
Gwen was taking her daily fly around the kingdom when she passed over a small town and noticed something. Kids all over were doubling over, vomiting all over the ground. She gasped and flew closer, scanning for what could've made so many kids sick. Then she saw them. The butterflies. The power of that awful butterfly man from the dinner a few days ago. She let out an annoyed shriek, and dove down, intending to land and capture all the butterflies. Then she saw her. The other girl from the dinner (she couldn't remember her name) killing them all, before wrapping a bandage around her wrist. The girl started to pace, and Gwen landed a few feet away, half hidden from sight from the trees, transforming back as the girl let out a groan.
Olivia flipped her long braid over her shoulder and pushed open the doors and sauntered into the room. Faster than the average eye could see dart flew around the room hitting the four gaurds in the corner, Olivia reached out and dug her nails into the necks of the guards at the door, and they collapsed convulsing on the floor, that much poison plus a direct would to the neck, they would be dead in moments. "Oops!" she said gleefully flipping to a better angle with which to send a dart into the final guards neck. She leaped gracefully onto the long table and stalked down it as if it were her own personal runway, "Who made the decor choices in this place? Seriously red? You put that shade of red next to that shade of orange?" She shot poison into every officials neck as she passed until she reached the head of the table there she stood, "I mean come on, every one knows that those two shouldn't be together, kinda like your head and your shoulders."
Cassie fell over in shock. "Ohmygod," she yelled before regaining control. "Oh, thank god. I need someone who actually wants to fix problems. I was just trying to enjoy my day, you know, like a normal person, and all these kids outside, you know, cause they like butterflies, they all started freaking throwing up, and I was panicking so I may have just killed like 2000 butterflies and my fucking wrist hurts so bad and - " she broke off with a frustrated growl.
The man at the head of the table paled, “Wh-What do you want from me- I’ll give y-you anything!” The man’s hands shook as he spoke, making Marco smile as he approached.
“We want Qisa, and you happen to be standing in our way.” Marco grinned, looking to Olivia, “He’s your if you want him.”
"Hey," Gwen said softly. "It's alright. The butterflies are gone now, and I'm here. As for your wrist…" she hesitantly reached out a hand to gently take the girl's wrist so she could see it more clearly. "What happened?"
Olivia smiled most attractively, then she pulled out her knife and cleanly sliced his head from hos shoulders, "See what I mean they're just so much better separate." She kicked over the mans chair sending the headless corpse tumbling into the ground, "You know the blood stains really add to the design." She said gesturing to the carpet.
(Shite I messed up the name argh don't worry I fixed it)
Cassie flinched away from her. "It happens whenever I use my powers. It's fine," she told Gwen quietly, holding her wrist.
She definitely wasn't fine, but Gwen didn't want to push. So she settled for, "Alright." She looked around at the air, void of any butterflies. (Did they just die, or did they poof back to andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)?) "You did a good job here," she told the girl, still speaking softly. "By the way, what was you're name again? I'm sorry for having to ask, but I don't have the best memory." She tapped her head.
(The butterflies would just poof away)
"It's fine, neither do I. I'm Cassie. And… what's yours?" She asked quietly.
"I'm Gwen." She offered a smile.
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) summoned butterflies to land on the remaining officers inside the room. As the butterflies touched them, everyone of them fainted almost immediately.
“I would agree though…” he wiped the small stains of blood on his visor off “…be a little softer next time” he teased Olivia a little.
Outside the central of the town, an explosion set into play inside the nearest forest. Following the sound of the explosion was a barrage of small insects that went from butterflies, mosquitoes, dragonflies and so on. All of them had the weirdest of colors, not a lot of them looked natural. As the insects got closer to the town, people who came into contact with them would either be paralyzed, have headaches, become dizzy or in worse cases, adopt asthma.
Olivia raised an eyebrow, but didn't respond, she shook the blood from her knife and whipped it off on the horrid table cloth before sheathing it. "Our next order of businesses should be taking over the rest of the country, this should be done more peacefully we need our subjects ."
“As much as I hate to say it, we might need to separate ways for now. We’ll need to take care of the several centers in the north, south and east individually. We can worry about the west center later as it is by the harbor, they’re busy exporting products that they don’t even care about the country” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) brought up and explained himself, trying to keep it as brief as possible.
“I’m taking the northern center, that’s all I know” he added right after he finished what he said earlier. He repositioned his mask so that his nose and mouth would be fully covered. He then put his knight’s visor back on to where it was before he wiped it clean.
Olivia sighed, "I can put down boundaries here, get a new system running and keep it from collapsing, we can't all just take off and leave this place wide open for just any second rate bandit to take control of." She flipped her hair back over her shoulder, "Besides I've been told I have a way with people."
“Uh… you two have men and women of your own, don’t you?” andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) brought up, raising a brow doing so. To be honest, he was wanting to go off on his own to the north center for personal reasons.
"Of coarse I have my own Girls, what of them? They'll be helping me set of government here while you boy's go off gallivanting across the country securing the outer base's." Olivia stated with a wave of her hand.
“I’m fine with that actually. If you don’t mind me, I’ll be heading to the northern base now” without waiting for a response from the two of his teammates, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) walked out of the meeting room and gently closed the door. He then headed outside to be met with up to ten guards waiting for the intruders.
“And leave some of my people here too, since I don’t want to let you make our whole government,” Marco told her jokingly as he began to clean his nails with a particularly sharp dagger. He felt so powerful, even though they had only killed one leader of one country. But it was a start in Marco’s master plan, finally going into action.
(Ah heck sorry I died on you)
Cassie nodded. "Ok, well, er… I'm not entirely sure what to do about this whole… situation."
"Me neither," Gwen admitted. "But we know the butterflies came from that guy at the dinner a few days ago. So it's probably safe to assume he was here recently. If I remember correctly there's a castle a few miles away from here. I'm betting he's with the others and that's where they went. We should probably go check to make sure everything's okay over there. Knowing the head guy and the other girl though, man were they into it, I'm guessing we're not going to like what we see. Come on."
Cassie grimaced. "How am I supposed to get there? I can make objects fly, not people."
"Hmm." Gwen thought for a moment. "I could turn into a horse and you could ride? Or a pegasus!"
Cassie raised an eyebrow. "That's completely and utterly ridiculous," she stated before sighing. "But I don't think there are many other options."
Gwen grinned despite the horrors they were undoubtedly going to see. She quickly transformed into a white pegasus, kneeling down so Cassie could climb onto her back.
Cassie sighed. "This is so stupid," she muttered before gracefully climbing onto the pegasus.
