"I'm too tired to make my way back there," She whined.

He sighed loudly.
Ash jumped down.

"Besides, I live in a bad neighborhood. To go out late at night would mean getting jumped…" She trailed off, slightly pouting.

Winter sighed. "You're just fishing for an invitation to stay here, aren't you?"

Astra put on a big grin and nodded. "You're so smart!"

He rolled his eyes. "Mm."

She put her hands on the back of her head. "Don't worry, I'll be extra nice if you let me stay!"

He sighed. "Fine. But don't touch anything."

She clasped her hands together and let out a soft squeal. "Thank you, Winter! Should I sleep on the couch?"

"Yes. I don't have a guest room for you, and you certainly are not sleeping in my room." He replied.

"Is that a challenge?" She smirked, a mischievous look suddenly appearing in her eyes.

He raised his eyebrows. "Ah…no?"

"Was that a yes?" She cackled. "I'm kidding, Winter." She flashed him that smirk again. "Maybe."

Winter looked disturbed. "I'm locking my bedroom door tonight." He said.

She shrugged. "If you think that'll help, go ahead." Astra was laughing internally. It was always fun when people reacted like this to her odd threats

He shook his head. "I swear, Astra, if you come to my room tonight…" He shook his head again.

"Who said I would?" She said, putting her hands up defensively.

He rolled his eyes.

She got up and gestured for him to get off the couch. "You know I'm only joking,"

He got up. "You better be." He replied.

She flopped down on the couch, sighing with content the second her head hit the pillow. "I have no reason to sneak into your room, Winter." She yawned again, already starting to feel like she was about to fall asleep

"Good." He replied, turning to go to his room. "Do you need anything? Blankets, a pillow?"

"Ooh, that sounds…. great…." she trailed off, trying to keep her eyes open. Why am I so exhausted? She thought. Eh, it doesn't matter.

He nodded, and brought her blankets and a pillow.

Astra took the blankets and made a lame attempt at covering herself with them. She grabbed the pillow and hugged it, not even bothering to put it under her head. "Thank you," her voice was muffled from the pillow

He nodded. "You're welcome." He replied. "Good night." He headed to his room.

"G'night," Astra started to drift to sleep
(Time skip, right?)

He went to bed.
(Yup)

Astra woke up at a god awful time in the morning. She tiptoed her way over to his kitchen and checked to see if he had any breakfast items. I'll make him breakfast in bed!

Winter was sprawled on his bed, blankets tangled around his legs messily.
Ash padded over to the kitchen, watching her curiously.
