(I’m fine with you winning. I have played chess IRL but I’m not great at it.)
(Alright.)
"Checkmate," Nyt said smiling and walking off her spot. She had cornered Abby with a rook, a bishop, and the queen. "I win!"
Despite being surrounded by the life-sized pieces, Abby was enjoying herself. ”Good game, Nyt. This was the best game of chess I’ve ever had.” She smiled.
Nyt chuckled. "That's good!" She said. The game faded away now that it was over. "Would you like another round or would you like something to eat?" She asked.
”We can eat.” Abby consented. ”You asked earlier before we ended up showing Caleb your collection. Sorry about that.” She blushed.
"It's fine!" She said as everything faded away and they were in the living room again. Nyt began to take off her equipment.
Once the VR had turned off Abby started taking off the controller gloves, still smiling. ”That was seriously so cool.”
"I know. I don't spend too much time on it but it's a lot of fun to have." She explained. Once Abby got her stuff off, Nyt scooped her up and started caring her to the table.
”I think I'm getting used to you carrying me around.” Abby chuckled, wrapping a single arm behind Nyt’s neck.
"Yay!" Nyt said, jumping a little. "That means I can carry you around more."
Abby laughed at Nyt’s enthusiasm, rolling her eyes a bit. ”Ok, fine. But not all the time. Fair?”
"Fine. But not until your leg gets better." Nyt said with a smile. When they reached the kitchen Nyt pulled something the resembled a apple out of the fridge.
”Deal.” Abby smirked. ”So, what do you call that?” she gestured to the… Was it even actually a fruit? It looked like it.
"A dun." Nut said setting it down indront of Abby. "Try it."
Abby did trust Nyt but she was a little more hesitant in trying the Dun that she had been with the batter buns. Who knew exactly how different the internal biology between the two species was. But Nyt said the planets were very similar so… She picked up the ”fruit”, moved her mask and bit into it.
The 'dun' tasted like a blueberry and a apricot had a child with the texture of a apple. "Do you like it?" Nyt asked as she pulled out another one. "They have to be my favorite fruit."
Abby's eyes widened at the unique flavor, humming happily as she nodded. ”I can see why. It's really good!” She smiled as she took another bite, adjusting her mask as necessary.
Nyt chuckled. "That's good." She said smiling. She's so pretty and small. I don't see why we didn't try to talk to them first. Expecially if they were all this cute.
If I can, I should try to get some Earth grown stuff for her to try. The main ”Community” where Abby lived had a small greenhouse farming area. It was practically in an airlock being fed with the same safe air that was converted by the masks.
(What should happen next? I feel like a time skip. I have a idea.)
(Go ahead. Just let me know how big a time skip it is.)
(I was thinking what if this was a little while down the line and the humans found out about Nyt. Most just wanted to move away but a small group decided to go capturead and/or kill Nyt. Does that sound good or should we do a bit more bonding because I'm fine with both.)
(Sounds pretty good to me. We can skip to humans finding out if you want.)
(Alright. Is it alright if you do some humans as well this time?)
(Sure, I’ll do my best.)
(Thankies!)
Nyt was cuddled into the couch with Abby, it was a bit cold out and Nyt was worried that Abby would get cold.
Mark and his friends trudged through the forest. They had recently found out that a Alien lived whereally they had set up camp. They were going to move bUT they were going to make sure they didn't have too.
Abby smiled, actually nuzzling closer to Nyt. She wasn't really cold, just very comfortable. The two of them had grown pretty close during their time together, learning about each others culture and such. Abby was starting to think that she would be able to introduce Nyt to a couple other humans soon.
”How much further is it, Mark?” Peter asked as softly as their masks would allow.
"They said about a mile from camp so we should be almost there." Mark replied. As they passed a few more trees the house came into view in the distence.
"Are you comfortable?" Nyt asked looking down at Abby and smiling, her tail draped over Abby's waist.
Peter actually growled at the thought that one of those things could be so close to their camp. He was a bit eager to make sure that his friends would be safe.
Abby hummed softly, for once lacking a blush, ”Yes, I am.” Her hand stroked against Nyt’s ear softly.
"I bet that's why Abby went missing. It probably killed her." Mark spat. He started towards the house again. "Cale probably saw her and then it got to her."
Nyt purred and leaned into her hand. She started to slowly run her hand through Abby's hair.
