"Really? What kind of homework?" Patton inquired gently.
"Really? What kind of homework?" Patton inquired gently.
"Essays." Logan said simply, sighing as he tried to find a way to do all three and not have it be suspicious. Actually… if they were all the same, they'd get caught. The principal would believe me if I said I wrote them. A slight mischievous grin grew onto his face as he started typing.
Remus walked over to Logan. "You mean the ones those jerks 'asked' you to write." Remus said, putting air quotations around asked.
"Yeah, but I've got a plan for that." Logan's fingers flew across the keyboard.
(school the next day is gonna be fun)
"Logan," Patton warned. "Are you sure this is the best course of action?"
(I haven't seen @Sparky_The_Genderqueer_Snek in a while. Are they still here?
"Yeah. I'm gonna get them caught, and hopefully they'll stop bullying me. The principal would believe that I wrote the essays, after all." Logan kept typing quickly.
(Sorry, with school coming up for me, you'll see your friendly neighborhood spork doesn't know how to manage it's shit at all. Anyways, I'm here.)
"Kids, Pattycake, come downstairs. Dinner's ready and I made chicken pot pie!" Deceit called up the stairs, tugging off his oven mitts, remembering that silverware was required, and finished setting down their medium-sized wooden table sitting in the center of a comfortable dining room with pictures of the family's years in this realm, from first days of school to Roman's and Remus's school plays (obviously they got the leading parts for their age group, the school board itself preferred talent over contacts and money, cough, PTA, cough), Logan's science fairs, and talent shows, to at-home moments like blanket forts, birthdays, or even just middle-of-the couch cuddle piles.
"Coming!" Logan got to a stopping point, saved what he had, and went downstairs. He brought a comb with him to smooth down his disheveled hair, as it had started to irk him.
Patton walked down the stairs and sat down in a chair. "Mmm, smells delicious!" he complimented Deceit on his cooking.
Remus's head shot up at the sound of Deceit's voice. He ran out of the room and down the stairs. "Smells good Father!" He said sitting down at his seat. Maybe if he acted good Patton would forget about the cookies.
Virgil stayed in his room and texted Papa. "I'm not hungry, I'm just going to bed early." He wrote, pulling on his old jacket, the only one he had from his birth parents before the fire.
Unfortunately, the cookes had slipped out of his mind for a moment, but soon Patton realized the cookie jar was missing, his eyes wandering around the room, and remembered. "Remus, I hope all those cookies didn't spoil your appetite," he warned.
Remus froze. "We didn't eat them all!" He said, waving his hand. "Only a few."
Logan quietly grabbed a jar of Crofters from the fridge, hoping Patton was distracted enough with Remus to not notice.
Patton sighed. "Remus, go bring that cookie jar down here and put it back where it belongs."
Remus sighed and ran upstairs and grabbed the cookie jar. About half of it was gone. He set it on the table and ran back to his seat.
"Where are the other cookies?" Patton raised an eyebrow. "You said you only ate a couple…"
"Roman and I both ate them. We both only had a few." Remus said. He really hated throwing Roman under the bus but he had to come up with an excuse so Patton wouldn't find the rest of the cookies.
"…and the cookie jar is half empty," Patton raised an eyebrow.
Roman came to find Remus and saw he gave Patton the cookie jar. Then tried to slowly back out of the room.
Remus saw Roman trying to leave. 'Run.' He mouthed. Remus the scrambled out of his chair and into the kitchen, hoping to give Roman an out.
Roman ran.
Patton just sighed, and let the two boys run off.
(I love how Patton and Deceit are like "Time for dinner." And the the kids for literally everything but that. Also with I was typing out Deceit it auto corrected to Devil.)
(oh lol)
Virgil scrolled through his phone, trying to find some memes that would cheer him up, even just a little bit.
Remus ran and hid behind Deceit as if he hid him from Patton.
(Please for the love of Thomas! Don't let this be dead!)
