"Yeah, whatever." He rolled his eyes. Honestly, he hated this guy.
“So, Revan, what brings you here?” Ivory asked, glancing at the boy in question. “Something…wicked?”
"Oh terribly wicked… I came out here to restock my ice cream supply. But I was thirsty so I came here." He said and drank his water.
“My, my, so evil,” she joked. “You must be dying of boredom to want to hang out with me.” She smirked, though it was true she wasn’t the most popular person.
"Who says I'm hanging out with you. Sure I am standing in your presence. But I'm not hanging out." Revan replied.
Ivory rolled her eyes. “Whatever you want to call it.” She took another sip of water, amused.
"Well, it's been lovely meeting you guys," Tim stood up. "But it's getting late. Say, when and where do you want another meeting?"
Ivory shrugged. “I dunno, here is fine,” she replied. “And what about tomorrow at six in the evening?”
"Never," Eris muttered under her breath. Other people were honestly so tiring. "I'd better go. My father will be worried."
"can do." Tim tipped his hat. "Take it easy, Grimhilde."
“Bye guys,” Ivory said with a wave. She took another sip of water. It was unlikely her dad would even notice she was gone for a while, if he did at all tonight. He was always so busy with his own stuff.
Quinn had remained quiet for most of the conversation, unsure of what to say. Quinnley Hart, the ex-royal. The prince with no crown. Reduced to a nobody.
Revan put down his glad and looked at the two. "Well as fun as this is… I have to get my ice cream… Priorities. Maybe we shall meet again." He said and nodded his head before departing.
Eris stood up and left without a word, crossing her arms. She was extremely glad to be able to leave.
“See ya,” Ivory sighed, feeling suddenly lonely. She glanced at Quinn. “Looks like it’s just you and me.”
Quinn looked at her. "Yes." He replied. "White Rabbit's daughter?" He asked.
“That’s right,” Ivory answered. “Is your mother the Queen of Hearts, by any chance?”
Quinn dipped his head. "Yes, she is." He replied, leaning one arm on the table.
“So we’re both from Wonderland. Exciting,” she said.
"Yes. Except according to the law, my mother is the bad guy, and your father is neutral or good." Quinn said with a shrug.
“I’d say neutral,” Ivory replied. “He never helps Alice much, though he had no love for the Queen, either.”
Quinn shrugged again. "True." He said. "But anyway. What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?" He asked, taking off his hat with a flourish.
“You know what my dad is like,” Ivory replied. “If he notices I’m gone I’ll be shocked. I got bored.”
He laughed. "I see." He shrugged slightly. "Still. It's a bit dangerous for you to be with a villain kid, especially in a place like this. Why, I might drug you!" He said, mouth cocked in a teasing, taunting smile. "I might break your heart." The handsome young prince had gained a reputation as a heartbreaker. He was called the Prince of Hearts for a reason, despite not actually being a royal anymore.
Ivory blushed a bit. “I don’t feel like I’m in danger,” she replied. “Should I?” She was used to going to different places, though it was true she didn’t often hang around with villain kids.
Quinn shrugged. "I don't know, should you?" He leaned on the table, looking at her, a slight smirk still on his face.
“You’re the villain kid,” Ivory replied, widening her eyes to make her look even more innocent. Then she giggled and proceeded to copy his smirk.
Quinn chuckled. "Mm. I am, aren't I?" Something flashed across his face for a moment, then was gone. "Off with your head!" He said teasingly, copying his mother's famous line.
“Oh no!” Ivory cried, pretending to be upset. She giggled again. “If only my dad could see me now; he’d have a heart attack.”
