@Simon-Says
(Oh sh*t?)
(Oh sh*t?)
(I would love to revive this if at all possible )
(Awesome~ I'll see what I can do)
(would you guys prefer to start off where we ended or something else?)
(I don't really care what we do lol, I'm fine with whatever)
(oh my god. I wasn’t depressed when I did Arabella. Wow. That was so long ago. Wow. Oof. Well ok. Arabella seems so happy)
(Omg sis 😂 it's cool, we all have to write INCREDIBLY SCARRED AND TRAGIC.CHARACTERS at one point or another.)
You are all currently resting in a town known as Valla's Ridge on the borders of Craisio. Surrounding you are the Geminat Mountains and north is a road leading into the heart of Craisio. Your group consists of Azriel an angel from Alteira, Iris an Yrnan elf and two Craision humans, Arabella and Clare (and of course Damian Bobby Joe, Terrifying Creature of Darkness the Waybeast.) While the town is rather peaceful and the residents are friendly enough this is a heaviness in the air reminiscent to the feeling just before a storm. But today, the sky is clear if a bit crisp. Whispers of oncoming war darken the atmosphere but the bustle of trade and travellers continues unhindered around you. You do draw a few eyes. Angels are an uncommon sight in the lowlands but you notice that Iris is receiving some suspicious glances. Several town guards are keeping a close watch on you all.
(just establish yourselves again so we know what everyone's doing and we'll see how it goes from there)
Clair gripped the way beasts lead in one hand and reached into her bag. She pulled out a cloak, "Iris, maybe Azreil should cover her wings, She's getting a lot of unwanted attention."
(I forgot about Damian Bobby Joe, Terrifying Creature of Darkness 😂)
Azriel smiled at the town around her. She was in an especially good mood today, and nothing so far had hindered this unexpected happiness. "I bet they have food that isn't crackers here," she mused contentedly.
(How can you forget about Damian Bobby Joe, Terrifying Creature of Darkness )
(Idk, he slipped my mind somehow. I'm really glad I was reminded of him, though, he was by far the best-named character)
(He's my favourite character ngl)
(Honestly same)
Iris flippantly tossed her hair over a shoulder, revealing her ears. "I don't particularly care for their attention," Iris grumbled, purposefully shooting down every stare that met her eyes. "She can do what she wants."
"You may not care about the attention, but I don't want to become a target!" Clare snapped back, She was rather grumpy, she really really didn't want to be going back.
“I swear if you say crackers one more time I’ll- I’m not going to finish that.” Arabella tugged in her hair.
"Good, I would think you'd be grateful to have someone share their food with you, some of us are actually prepared." Clare commented, eyeing the baker's stall and pulling up her hood.
(Ah heck I forgot my character is a dummy and can't hecking communicate)
(There should be a sign language or something lmao)
(I’ve have a brain power thingy why didn’t I choose telepathy?)
(Not trying to pressure you guys or anything but do you think you could flesh out your responses a bit more? Describe surroundings etc because it's easier for me to set the scene when I know what you're seeing. Not a big thing, not super important but I'd like if you took more control of the rp if you know what I mean. Don't rely on me for plot and events so much)
(I can do that)
Clare stared at the Bakers stall thinking of the coin pouch tucked inside her bag, "I'm,going to do some light shopping, the rest of you don't do anything stupid." Clare didn't wait for the group response, heading straight for the Bakers. The man watching the stall took in her red and black clothes and shinning red hair, as if she were an unsavory character. Clare ignored his stares, she had money and she wanted crackers. To her disappointment they didn't seem to have crackers. There was however a strange twisted looking thing that smelled like crackers. "I'll have some of those please." She said pointing to the twisted things, the man didn't move. Clare sighed and pulled out her coin pouch with a jingling sound. The man quickly packaged a few dozen of the things he called pretzels named his price. Clare payed the man and sampled a pretzel before wandering around the market place looking for anything that seemed interesting.
Arabella saw pretzels in Clare’s hand and became overjoyed. She ran across the market place towards Clare, her eyes shining and a brilliant smile on her face. “Clare! Are those pretzels I absolutely positively LOVE pretzels! They’re and salty and absolutely delicious!” Arabella was happy. Really happy. She didn’t know why she was so happy over something so small but she was and she loved it. She loved every second of it.
Clare growled, a low harsh sound, "Mine!" She glowered clutching the pretzels in her hand and slipping them into the safety of her bag. She was becoming more and more aware of the crowded street around her and the drooping sun, night would soon fall and they were no where near the Inn where they had gotten a room. "Arabella, why don't you find the two love birds and head back toward the inn, I need to get a few more things then I'll catch up, ok?"
Arabella’s face fell, happiness draining from her face. “Oh. Okay. Yeah. I’ll get right on that.” She swiveled around and caught sight of hair extensions the shade of her hair. The redhead pulled her fingers through her short hair and began to shuffle forward, almost as in a trance until a large man came barreling out of nowhere- knocking her to the ground with a cry.
Azriel looked around, hearing a yelp… or something, and noticed Arabella had fallen. She rushed over to the girl and offered her hand, which was still covered in bandaging, to help her up.
(I'm just gonna do that cause Trix isn't, like, here right now lol)
Arabella gratefully accepted the help. “Thank you.” She hope the angel understood what she’s meant. She took one more wistful glance at the hair extensions before telling herself that frivolous spending of money wouldn’t get her anywhere.
Azriel nodded and retracted her hand as quickly as possible, turning and weaving through the crowd to find Iris.
Arabella began to walk away but turned around and ran to the hair extensions. She opened the shop door with a jingle of the bell and went straight to what she wanted.
