He paused, a bit of stress wriggling in his stomach, before nodding. "I'll get closer to her, and she shouldn't assume anything, anyway. She's never felt what's it's like to have her powers. If worst comes to worst we can glamour an illusion or try to make her forget?" The plan was risky, but solid. It made sense. And he was confident that Vesper and he could take her down - the pair had tons more experience.

After she had left Cassie, Alana silently cursed herself for being so weird with someone she had just met. You idiot! a tiny voice in her head said. However, she had accidentally stumbled upon Aquilla and Vesper chatting. A threat? she wondered. Her hands shoved in her pockets, she tried to hurry past them, hoping they wouldn't notice her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper nodded. "That would work. I-" he broke off with a soft sigh. He knew only too well what it felt like to have someone in his mind, twisting his thoughts and his dreams and shattering him apart. He knew he could recreate it, but…it made something uneasy settle into his gut, as he remembered what it had been like.

Surprised that neither of them had said anything, fear twisting inside her, she looked up, coming to a full stop. One of the boys, he looked broken, shattered almost. She almost felt bad for him, but then the tiny voice in her head came back. He's considering a girl you've never met a threat! Why should you feel bad for him? But her morality got the better of her, and in a small voice she asked quietly, "A-are you ok?" looking down, unsure of how he would react.

@Trix

"Yes?" Aquila started, eager to see any humanity or emotion Vesper was capable of displaying. It sounded genuine, even to his ears, and he supposed the question was. Eventually, his right eye snapped to the source of sound - a girl. How long had she been lurking?

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper blinked. "I'm fine." He replied. He realized that they needed a cover in case this girl had been listening for too long. "We were just talking about a game we're playing, and he's totally beating me." A flashy, chagrined smile flickered over his face. "I need to take out some competition, and, well…we were picking a player to take out, make it easier on both of us, though I'm not sure I should do him any favors." His eyes snaked to Aquila. Play along! He begged. This needed to work, in case she had heard them.

Alana recoiled in fear the second Aquilla's eye landed on her. Were they going to hurt her? She couldn't tell if the boy she asked was lying or not, for all she knew they could be aliens and she wouldn't even know. "I… please don't hurt me…" she managed to gasp out through all her fear. Even if they hadn't been lying, it was still worth a shot. The worst thing that could happen would be death, right? Now that she thought about it, she would miss her parents, and they would be devastated to hear of such acts. She made up her mind to run away as soon as the opportune moment presented itself.

(Yeah I know. Also I forgot that they were the bad guys lol she doesn't know anyone so that's how it is she's questioning everyone's actions, unsure of how nice they are, ect. She thinks that like Aquilla is popular or something and she doesn't want to get embarrassed, and like death would be like worst-case scenario aka least-likely)

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper frowned slightly. "We aren't going to hurt you. It's just a game. Really." He said, putting his hands in his pockets. "I swear. It's just a competitive game." He looked at her.

@saor_illust school

(Yeah that's fine)

Alana gave a sigh of relief. "Well whatever game it happens to be… I don't want to be a part of it. It seems dangerous, what with targets and everything…" she replied. "I-I'm sorry, I don't really know anyone… I'm overreacting… oh boy now I'm rambling I've never done this before… I better leave before I annoy you two…" her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Taking a deep breath, she took a moment to compose herself. "Are you sure you're alright?"

(Erm… I'm not sure, cause I already sort of had a story going for Cassie, but… I guess?)

(Long lost sibling or it could be her aunt. I could be Thorne's younger sister)

(Cool. I’m finally here again so yay!)
“Sooo. What’s something normal you do that your family thinks is weird, if you have something. Mine is that I absolutely hate tomatoes. My parents are obsessed. They think I’m crazy for disliking them.” She looked over at Cassie.

@Simon-Says

Cassie tilted her head thoughtfully. "I don't think I have one. My whole family pretty much has the same thought process. Well, not my parents, but - you get the idea. We all sort of like the same things."
