Karina came around the corner of the house to see Alpha climbing into a ship. That none of them owned. Which meant Alpha was breaking in.
"Um, do I want to know what's going on…?" She asked, raising a brow.

@Trix

Aquila bit his cheek, barely holding himself in check. "We're… done arguing, I think?" He arched a brow at the group.

@Simon-Says

Cassie crossed her arms, muttering profanities under her breath. "Should've stuck with the edgy teen routine," she mumbled to herself.

@Simon-Says

"I'm not arguing, no one's arguing, we're all just fine," she gave a sarcastic smile before stalking back to the house and sitting down, leaning against the wall.

@Trix

"Perhaps the ship would've been a better option than… this," Aquila suggested, only half joking. Fineness wasn't looking so hot in his eyes.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Alpha looked one last time at the ship before walking away. A defeated look about her. She bit her lip, exposing a long wolf like fang. She walked towards a tree in the middle of the year and climbed up to the third branch and leaned against the trunk of the tree. Why couldn’t she do anything normal. Why was she a bad seed? Couldn’t she do anything right? A tear rolled down her cheek. great. Like I haven’t done enough crying today.

@Simon-Says

Cassie sighed. Why does she have to be so much like my sister? Crossing her arms, she put her port away and walked over to Alpha's tree. "Why are you crying?"

@hyunjins-eyemole

“I’m not cry-,” she realized she couldn’t lie mid sentence. “I don’t know anymore. I guess I’m tired of being scolded and pretending that like I don’t care what people think when I really do. I know it’s a silly reason and I feel like a baby and-“ she paused to take a breath and look Cassie in the eyes. “I’m sorry.”

@Simon-Says

Cassie blinked before taking a deep breath. "Well, you're not exactly all grown up. It's alright to feel like and act like a child sometimes. But I understand that these things can build up over time. I'm not always an emotionless asshole."

@hyunjins-eyemole

Alpha laughed, “I feel like I haven’t been a child since I was 9. That’s when I was assigned harder chores to do. Like spend my entire Saturday cleaning the barn. It sucks.”

@Simon-Says

Cassie raised her eyebrows. "You don't feel like a child… because you have to do chores like most kids? Try raising a sister sometime. That'll really make you feel like an adult. Oh, or completely renovating a shed. That's always fun."

@hyunjins-eyemole

“Or having to run after a runaway cow. They are surprisingly fast. Gardening is not as enjoyable when there’s a good couple hundred acres of garden and you sunburn like that.” Alpha accented her words with a snap

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper could hear the two arguing, and uncomfortably wondered if there was something he could say or do to help. To make them stop fighting. That was all they seemed to do, so far.

@Trix

Sighing, Aquila dared to level his eyesight with Vesper's, evening the platform. He stared, silent, taking in Sybil's child. Were there more lunar children? Could they be persuaded? A small shake of his head snapped his attention to the one before him. "Hey, Vesper."

@hyunjins-eyemole

“Yeah. I’ll have to agree with you on that matter. But do you think of me as a child? I just wanna know.” She leaned her head against the tree with a new solemn look on her face.

@Simon-Says

Cassie winced. "I… you remind me a lot, almost too much, of my sister. She was the most childish person I ever knew, so… I suppose I do."

@Trix

He paused, swallowing a bit. "You know me. I know you," he addressed, cautiously choosing every word. "What are you doing here?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I…" He hesitated. "Came because I was told to." I was raised as your weapon, as your thaumaturge, Aquila…I don't know how to be anything else.

@Trix

His eyes flashed with guilt, a queasy feeling settling in his stomach. He was born to be a leader, and leader's were on top. He was bred for this role. He was Aquila Blackburn. "Who… told you?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper glanced down at his feet. "I don't know. My mother…set up a network of contacts before she died. Someone contacted me and told me to come here." And if I hadn't obeyed, there would have been consequences. You may be free to act as you wish, Aquila, but I have rules I must follow.

@Trix

Aquila angled his head to one side and said, "What do you want, Vesper?" The words rolled off his tongue, beckoning. "What do you want more than anything in this world, Luna, or the next?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Vesper frowned. "Nothing." He replied slowly. "I don't know." His mind had been destroyed and rebuilt so many times, he wasn't sure he was even his own person anymore. He had been programmed, had been created, to follow Aquila. It was all he knew at this point.
