"What…what is this?" There were guns, knives, swords…but something was off about them.
"My creations. These," she pointed to a wall. "are my creations."

Cas seemed a bit uneasy, but he didn't speak. He never tried to go away from Sorin at all, though.
"For what exactly? I thought you were done with the whole…soldier thing."
"Yes. At least I was until Shen and Veronica got together," she clicked her tongue. "Which is a very bad combo, might I add. But i'm sure we both knew that already." she held her arms out and spun around. "These weapons are probably the only chance in killing the two."
"Wait, we're committing murder now?" Cas asked, standing very close to Sorin.
"It's not murder," Kyoko said. "It's justified homicide."
"…Isn't homicide just another word for murder?"
"Anyways," she gestured Sorin to follow her and picked up a dagger from the wall. It's blade was long but extremely thin– thinner than a needle. Before Sorin could say anything, she poked his arm with it.
"Hey!" Cas carefully grabbed Sorin's arm and inspected the wound, clearly a little bit pissed.
Though he was sure she stabbed him deep, it wasn't bleeding. Sorin opened up his mouth to say something but Kyoko quickly cut him off.
"Angel blood. It's the key ingredient to this weapon– to all of them," she smiled at Cas.
Cas just glared back, still holding Sorin's arm. He definitely didn't like Kyoko hurting Sorin; especially withot even getting Sorin's consent.
"We'll talk more about this, later," she made a subtle gesture towards Cas.
Cas slid his hand down to Sorin's and clutched it tightly, falling silent.
"It's getting late," Kyoko eyed Cas before walking past both of them. Sorin knew she wasn't naive. He could've known Cas for years and she still wouldn't trust him enough to spill certain information around him– not unless she got to him for herself.
Sorin led him out the room. Maybe tonight. He would wait till Cas was asleep to speak to her. Though there was a risk of him getting angry at him again…
He looked at the walls and squinted his eyes on the paintings he hadn't noticed on their way to that weapon room.
Cas just quietly followed Sorin and sat down on the bed once they returned to their room. "I don't trust her…" He muttered.
"Why?" Sorin shut the door quietly behind him. The golden rays of sunset filtered through the window, shining into his hazel eyes. "I've known her for two years. She's not a bad person."
"She literally just stabbed you without warning!" Cas huffed a bit.
"Yeah, you have a point… but that's just the way she is. If someone asked you if they could stab you, would you say yes?"
"I'd rather people don't stab me, but depending on what it's for, I figure there's a better way."
He knelt in front of him and held both of his hands. "I know it's gonna take some time getting use to her, but at least try to get to know her."
"I don't think she really wants to get to know me either, love." Cas murmured, looking down at Sorin.
Sorin caressed his face. "And why do you say that, love?"
"Doesn't seem to like me much, which is fair, I guess…" Cas purred softly at Sorin's touch.
"Oh, Cas, don't say that. Of course she likes you."
"How could she after I literally told her to fuck off earlier? Though, in my defense, she did sort of interrupt us…"
"Kyoko's temper is short, but she doesn't hold grudges," Sorin took and shoes off and lied on the bed beside him.
Cas shrugged and curled up on the bed. "She said she had a neko infestation problem or whatever. I don't think she's particularly fond of nekos."
Oh boy… "Well," he scratched the back of his neck and laughed nervously. "Nekos here aren't exactly the…nicest."
"What do you mean? Well, I suppose I don't come in contact with them often… they're quite rare where we come from."
"They're thieves… and killers but mostly thieves. They're almost as dangerous as the sirens."
"Well, I suppose I'm comparison to that, my being a bit bitchy about her intrusion must be a welcome change…" Cas muttered, a bit of bitterness laced between his words.
